New guidance on management of information on technical inspection of occupational safety in Vietnam

According to Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, information of organizations and individuals conducting technical inspection of occupational safety must be strictly managed by specialized agencies and online software managing occupational safety technical inspection activities. Specifically, management of information on technical inspection of occupational safety is guided as follows:

- The information of the organizations issued with the license to conduct the technical inspection of occupational safety that is uploaded on the online software managing the technical inspection of occupational safety (hereinafter referred to as “the software”) includes: name, address, code of the organization conducting technical inspection of occupational safety; the list of provided machinery, equipment and parts according to the license to conduct technical inspection of occupational safety; issuance date, expiration date of the license to conduct technical inspection of occupational safety; the violations of the inspecting organizations (if any).

- The information of the individuals issued with the inspector certificate that is uploaded on the software includes: full name; inspector code; ID/Citizen Identity Card number; the list of machinery, equipment and parts eligible for conducting technical inspection of occupational safety; issuance date, expiration date of the inspector certificate; the violations of the inspectors (if any).

Also according to Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BXD, the application of information technology in technical inspection of occupational safety shall be regulated as follows:

- The specialized agencies shall have the responsibilities to develop, upload and provide updates on information of the organizations and individuals specified in Clause 1, Clause 2 of this Article for the software; instruct the organizations and individuals conducting technical inspection of occupational safety to use the software;

- The organizations and individuals conducting technical inspection of occupational safety shall have the right to use the software specified in Point a of this Clause during their operation to manage and carry out technical inspection of occupational safety with regard to machinery, equipment and parts subject to stringent occupational safety requirements that are used in construction works.
