Recently, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum amount of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in fields such as materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technologies.

According to the Regulations on the Minimum Knowledge Volume and Competency Requirements that Learners Must Achieve Upon Graduation from Intermediate or College Level in Textile Technology, issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve upon graduation at the college level in textile technology are as follows:
- Be able to present topics on Technical Drawing, Electrical Engineering, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Applied Mechanics, Fit Tolerances, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection;
- Be able to identify and analyze the characteristics and properties of different fibers and yarns used in the fabric weaving process;
- Be able to present issues concerning textile materials, spinning technology, fabric weaving, dye chemistry, and product finishing processes;
- Be able to present on product quality and methods for managing a production workshop in the fabric weaving production line according to market mechanisms;
- Be able to analyze the basic technology of the production stages in the fabric weaving production line;
- Be able to determine the raw material consumption level, labor level, and machine productivity in the weaving production line;
- Be able to present the basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as stipulated.
