Members of the Organization for Directing and Searching for Martyrs' Remains are Entitled to What Policies?

The Ministry of National Defense promulgates Circular 298/2017/TT-BQP guiding the implementation of policies and assurance work for organizations and individuals performing the tasks of searching and collecting martyrs' remains.

To be specific, in addition to salary and allowance policies, members of organizations directly directing and performing the tasks of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs are entitled to the following policies:

- A living allowance of 220,000 VND/person/day for the actual days assigned by the authorities to directly inspect and direct the work of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs both domestically and abroad. In cases where the living allowance policy is applied, the accommodation allowance policy for officials on domestic business trips is not applicable.- When performing the task of directing the work of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs abroad, they are entitled to business trip policies for the days directly performing their duties as prescribed in Circular 102/2012/TT-BTC.- In cases of illness or injury, medical expenses and transportation costs are reimbursed as guided in Clause 9, Article 3 of Circular 298.
