Incentive Regime for “Heroic Vietnamese Mothers”

- To organize a ceremony to award or posthumously confer;- To receive a one-time payment and enjoy preferential policies according to the law on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution as stipulated in Decree 99/2018/ND-CP;- Upon passing away, to be given a solemn funeral ceremony;

The preferential regime for "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" is detailed in Article 3 of Decree 56/2013/ND-CP as follows:

- The mother awarded the honorary title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" by the State will be given a Certificate, the "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" Badge, and enjoy preferential policies according to the law on emulation, commendation, and the law on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution.- The mother posthumously awarded the honorary title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" by the State will have her worshippers receive the Certificate, the "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" Badge, and enjoy the policies according to the law on emulation, commendation, and the law on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution.- The organization of the ceremony to award or posthumously confer the honorary title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" by the State is regulated as follows:- The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee or directly governed city is responsible for organizing the ceremony to award or posthumously confer the honorary title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" by the State;- The award or posthumous ceremony is organized solemnly, economically, with educational significance; decorations for the ceremony display the phrase: Ceremony to award or posthumously confer the honorary title "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" by the State.

- The organization of a funeral when the Vietnamese Heroic Mother passes away is regulated as follows:- The Chairman of the District People's Committee is responsible for organizing the funeral with representatives from the Party Committee, government, political-social organizations, the nurturing agency/unit, and residents where the mother resided;- The funeral is organized solemnly and economically, in accordance with local customs and traditions; decorations for the ceremony display the phrase: Funeral of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother.
