- Diplomatic passports and service passports are valid for at least 01 year and not more than 05 years from the date of issuance.- The validity of diplomatic passports and service passports issued to the subjects specified in Clause 4 Article 16 of Circular 03/2016/TT-BNG shall not exceed the validity of the passports of the members of the representative agencies, state news agencies, or press residing abroad whom they are accompanying or visiting.- The validity of diplomatic passports and service passports issued to subjects with changed positions specified in Clause 2 Article 16 of Circular 03/2016/TT-BNG shall not exceed the remaining validity of the old passports.- The validity of diplomatic passports and service passports issued to subjects who have damaged or lost their passports while on short-term business trips abroad is 01 year.
