- The Ministry of National Defence assists the Government of Vietnam in State management; uniformly directs the implementation of the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains both domestically and internationally.- Ministries and sectors are responsible for managing, directing, and guiding the organization and implementation of the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains according to the Prime Minister's decision.- Military zones are responsible for assisting the Ministry of National Defence in managing and directing the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains within the military zone and internationally as assigned by the Special Task Force, Specialized Committee of the Government of Vietnam.- People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities (referred to as provincial-level People's Committees) are responsible for managing and directing the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains in their areas; managing and directing the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains internationally as assigned by the Special Task Force, Specialized Committee of the Government of Vietnam.- Military units from the regiment level and equivalent upwards are responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains within the scope of the assigned responsibilities.- Dedicated forces and temporary forces established by competent authorities are the core forces carrying out the task of searching and repatriating martyrs' remains.
Thus, each competent authority will carry out the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains within their management scope.
