Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued Circular 21/2020/TT-BGDDT guiding the emulation and commendation work in the Education sector, including regulations on the criteria for collective units to be awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Minister of Education and Training.
Standards for Collectives to Be Awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training (Illustrative Image)
To be specific, in Circular 21/2020/TT-BGDDT it is stipulated that the Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training is awarded to collectives that exemplary comply with the guidelines of the Communist Party, policies, laws of the State, maintain internal unity, and meet one of the following standards:
- Have outstanding, exemplary achievements evaluated as part of the emulation movement initiated by the Minister of Education and Training;
- Have been continuously recognized for 02 years by the competent authority as "Excellent Collective Labor" for units belonging to the Ministry's Office, units under the Ministry, National Universities, and collectives under units specified in this point;
- Have outstanding sudden achievements with influential scope in one of the fields under the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training, or have exceptional achievements in rescuing people and property of the people and the State, in disaster, enemy, or epidemic prevention and mitigation at the unit or local level;
- Have made many practical, effective contributions and support to the education sector, confirmed by the direct superior management agency and the beneficiary unit;
- Have outstanding exemplary achievements in the process of building and developing the unit, on the occasion of the anniversary year.
