Regulations on the State Administrative Map Collection, Circular 47/2014/TT-BTNMT

Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 13 of Circular 47/2014/TT-BTNMT, the regulations on the state administrative map collection are as follows:

- The state administrative map collection must fully represent the administrative units of the administrative unit to be shown; depending on the purpose of use, supplementary maps and statistical tables can be added to clarify specialized content when the administrative maps in the collection cannot fully show it;

- The arrangement of map pages in the state administrative map collection must ensure logicality according to the following principles: From general to specific; from higher to lower levels; from overview to detail; provincial and district administrative maps in the collection should follow the geographic location order from higher to lower latitude, from smaller to larger longitude;

- The layout of each map page in the state administrative map collection must ensure completeness, consistency, and apply corresponding types of administrative maps according to the provisions of Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article;

- The structure of the national state administrative map collection is as follows: Cover; inner cover; publication procedures; foreword; table of contents; symbols; national administrative map; provincial administrative maps within Vietnam's territory; tables of administrative place names, area, population of district and provincial administrative units; index of place names in the collection;

- The structure of the provincial state administrative map collection is as follows: Cover; inner cover; publication procedures; foreword; table of contents; symbols; provincial administrative map of the administrative unit that formed the map; district administrative maps of the administrative unit that formed the map; tables of administrative place names, area, population of district and commune administrative units of the administrative unit that formed the map collection;

- The structure of the district state administrative map collection is as follows: Cover; inner cover; publication procedures; foreword; table of contents; symbols; commune maps; tables of administrative place names, area, population of commune-level administrative units of the administrative unit that formed the map collection; index of place names in the collection.
