*Sample 1:

I am the younger brother in the fairy tale "Cây Khế" that people often tell. My life has gone through many hardships and difficulties to achieve the peace and happiness I have today.

Previously, I lived with my elder brother and father. After our father passed away, my brother took all the inheritance and drove me out. He left me with only an old starfruit tree and a small hut nearby. After leaving the house, my wife and I worked hard to earn a living day by day. That year, the starfruit tree suddenly bore many sweet fruits. My wife and I hoped to earn a decent amount from this harvest. But on the day of picking the fruits, a strange bird unexpectedly came from afar. It ate a lot of fruits, so I was very anxious. I complained to the bird about my family situation, hoping it wouldn’t eat any more. Surprisingly, the bird understood my words and responded in a human voice, telling me to make a three-foot bag. The next day the bird flew me to a gold island, and thanks to the gold brought back from the island, my wife and I became wealthy. Upon hearing the news, my brother came to ask about it and insisted on exchanging his house for the old starfruit tree. However, after imitating my complaints to be taken by the bird to the gold island, he instead took a twelve-foot bag. Consequently, the heavy load of gold dragged him deep into the sea when he encountered a storm.

*Sample 2:

I am the younger brother in the fairy tale "Cây Khế" that people often tell.

I had an elder brother who was both greedy and lazy. As soon as our father passed away, he took all the wealth and only left me an old starfruit tree. Although a bit sad, I did not resent him and moved to a hut near the starfruit tree to live. Every day, I worked as a laborer in the village and then came back to take care of the starfruit tree. The following year, the tree bore many sweet fruits, making me very happy. However, before I could take the starfruits to the market to sell, a large bird from afar came and ate almost the whole tree. I was very sad, so I sought out the bird to talk. Hearing my words, the bird took me to an island to collect gold as payment for the starfruits. Because of this, I became wealthy. Upon hearing the news, my brother came to visit. I told him everything without hiding anything. So, he exchanged his house for my starfruit tree. Then he suddenly disappeared, which worried me greatly. So I went back to the old house to find him. Finding the large bird eating the starfruits, I gently asked it about the matter. After inquiring, I found out that because of his greed, my brother made a twelve-foot bag to gather gold, which was too heavy, and the bird could not carry him. He encountered a large storm and was thrown into the deep sea.

Hearing the bird’s tale, I was deeply saddened. But I understood that it was the outcome my greedy brother had created.
