Investigate scientific research and technological development (R&D) of research and development organizations; higher education institutions; science and technology service organizations; administrative agencies, non-business units; businesses; other organizations engaged in research and development activities for the purpose of collecting information on scientific research and technological development of the country for assessment and formulation of scientific policies, strategies, plans and plans. technology.
The R&D survey responds to requests for data to:
+ Assess the current situation, analyze changing trends, develop plans and strategies on R&D nationwide, according to ministries, branches as well as localities;

2.1. Objects and units of investigation
The object of investigation, who is also the investigation unit of the R&D Survey, is:
(1) Science and technology organizations:
- R&D organizations (academies, research and development institutes/centers, laboratories, research stations, monitoring stations, testing stations and other research and development facilities);
- Higher education institutions: include universities, universities, academies (institutions and research centers of the university are considered as university units). Colleges;

- Time and period of investigation
+ The time to start the investigation is July 1, 2022. The indicators collected by time are based on actual numbers up to December 31, 2021.
+ Survey period: the data collected by period is collected within 1 year, from January 1, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021.
- Investigation time
