- The 1st Coast Guard Region Command manages the waters from the mouth of the Bac Luan River in Quang Ninh province to Con Co Island in Quang Tri province;
- The 2nd Coast Guard Area Command manages the waters from Con Co Island in Quang Tri province to Blue Island in Binh Dinh province;
- The 3rd Coast Guard Region Command manages the waters from Cu Lao Xanh in Binh Dinh province to the north shore of Dinh An gate in Tra Vinh province;
- The 4th Coast Guard Region Command manages the waters from the north coast of Dinh An gate in Tra Vinh province to Ha Tien in Kien Giang province.

1. Police uniforms of the Vietnam Coast Guard include:
a/ Commonly used uniforms;
b) Field uniforms;
c/ Professional service scenes;
d) Work police.
2. Uniforms of the Vietnam Coast Guard include:
a) Winter vestments;
b) Summer vestments;
c/ Vestments of defense workers and officials;
(d) The vestments of honor and honor."
Thus, according to the above regulations, the Vietnam Coast Guard has 4 uniforms and 4 vestments.
How are the duties and responsibilities of Vietnam Coast Guard officers and soldiers regulated?
Pursuant to Article 10 of the 2018 Coast Guard Law of Vietnam, the obligations and responsibilities of Vietnam Coast Guard officers and soldiers are as follows:
- Prove their absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the People, the Party and the State; strictly abide by the undertakings and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, directives and orders of superiors.
- Express their determination to defend national sovereignty, sovereign rights and jurisdiction in the Vietnamese territorial waters; combat crimes, violations of law, maintain security, social order and safety, keep the Vietnamese waters peaceful, stable and developed.
- Watch out for and protect state and on-duty secret; strictly implement the working measures of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
- Strictly abide by international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a contracting party and international agreements related to the functions, tasks and powers of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
- Frequently train themselves to improve political competence, legal knowledge, professional qualifications, a sense of discipline, and take more physical exercises.
- Assume responsibility before law and to the superiors for their decisions and performance during the on-duty period.
How are the powers of the Vietnam Coast Guard regulated?
Pursuant to Article 9 of the 2018 Coast Guard Law of Vietnam, the powers of the Vietnam Coast Guard are as follows:
- Patrol, inspect and control people, vessels, cargo and luggage in the territorial waters of Vietnam under the provisions of this Law and other relevant law provisions.
- Use weapons, explosives and other accessories as provided for in Article 14 of 2018 Coast Guard Law of Vietnam.
- Use professional technical means and equipment under the provisions of Article 15 of 2018 Coast Guard Law of Vietnam and other relevant law provisions.
- Impose legal penalties for administrative violations.
- Conduct a number of criminal investigation activities in accordance with the law on organization of criminal investigation agencies and criminal procedure law.
- Chase vessels in violation of law at sea.
- Mobilize people, vessels and civil technical means and equipment of Vietnamese entities and citizens in case of emergency.
- Request foreign organizations and individuals operating in the territorial waters of Vietnam to provide support and assistance in case of emergency.
- Arrest seagoing vessels in accordance with law.
- Apply working measures prescribed in Article 12 of the 2018 Coast Guard Law of Vietnam.
