Vietnam: Determining the time of reporting of loans granted for employment creation

The Ministry of of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular No. 01/2020/TT-BLĐTBXH on guidelines for implementation of some articles of Decree No. 61/2015/ND-CP dated July 09, 2015 of Vietnam’s Government on employment creation policies and National Employment Fund and Decree No. 74/2019/ND-CP dated September 23, 2019 of Vietnam’s Government on amendments to Decree No. 61/2015/ND-CP.

Specifically, according to Article 4 of Circular No. 01/2020/TT-BLĐTBXH of the Ministry of of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam, reporting of loans granted for employment creation, maintenance and development and loans granted to Vietnamese guest workers by raised capital is prescribed as follows:

- On a quarterly basis, by the 10th of the first month, the VBSP’s transaction office (Vietnam Bank for Social Policies) shall report to the district-level Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on loans granted for employment creation, maintenance and development and loans granted to Vietnamese guest workers by raised capital using the Forms No. 7 and No. 8 hereof.

- On a quarterly basis, by the 15th of the first month, the VBSP’s branch shall report to the provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on loans granted for employment creation, maintenance and development and loans granted to Vietnamese guest workers by raised capital using the Forms No. 9 and No. 10 hereof.

- On a quarterly basis, by the 20th of the first month, the VBSP shall report to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on loans granted for employment creation, maintenance and development and loans granted to Vietnamese guest workers by raised capital using the Forms No. 11 and No. 12 hereof.

The period of collection of data specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this Article begins from January 01 of the reporting year to the last day of the preceding quarter.
