Vietnam: 04 rules for management of quality of category 2 commodities
This content is detailed in Circular No. 05/2019/TT-BTTTT on the list of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam.

According to Circular No. 05/2019/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam, the management of quality of category 2 commodities shall comply with the following rules:
- Quality of commodities on the List of category 2 commodities shall be managed in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Information and Communications on certification and declaration of conformity and inspection of quality of information technology and communications commodities, and respective technical regulations.
- If part of a commodity on the List of category 2 commodities is another commodity on the same List, it is required to certify and declare conformity with technical regulations applicable to such commodity.
- In the cases where any of the technical regulations specified in the List of group 2 commodities is amended or replaced, the newest one shall apply.
- In case of any difference between provisions of the technical regulations and those of this Circular on certification and declaration of conformity, regulations of this Circular shall prevail.
