Vietnam: 03 cases of invalidation of the certificate of registration for provision of verification service
This is a notable content of Circular No. 24/2013/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam on verification, calibration and testing of measuring instruments and measurement standards.

A certificate of registration shall be partially or totally invalidated in the cases specified in Article 10 of Circular No. 24/2013/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam:
- The verification/calibration/testing service provider is dissolved, goes bankrupt or seriously violates laws;
- The verification/calibration/testing service provider fails to take remedial actions during the suspension period specified in the suspension notice;
- The verification/calibration/testing service provider submits a written request for not continuing partial or total provision of verification/calibration/testing services.
The Directorate shall consider issuing a decision on partial or total invalidation of the issued certificate of registration (hereinafter referred to as “the invalidation decision”), as the case may be. The invalidation decision shall be sent to the verification/calibration/testing service provider and Sub-directorate for Standard, Metrology and Quality of the area where the verification/calibration/testing service provider’s headquarters is located and published on the web portal of the Directorate.
