Requirements for Skills to be Acquired After Graduating from the Secondary Technical Program in Food and Cash Crop Cultivation

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate or college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary science.

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level and college level in the food and crop cultivation industry, issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills required for graduates from the intermediate level in food and crop cultivation are as follows:

- Organize the implementation of the tasks related to the production of crop seedlings, planting, caring for, and harvesting food crops.

- Carry out the steps for preparing plant seedlings, planting, caring for, managing, protecting, and developing food crops.

- Use the equipment and tools for planting, caring for, and controlling pests and diseases in food crops.

- Inspect and evaluate the results of planting and caring for, and harvesting food crops.

- Implement the procedures for harvesting, preliminary processing, preserving, and marketing food crop products.

- Propagate and disseminate specialized knowledge, market information, regulations, and policies related to the food crop industry.

- Compile information, write and present reports.

- Evaluate and develop rural development plans.

- Implement the agricultural business production model.

- Use basic information technology as regulated; exploit, process, and apply information technology in the professional work of the industry.

- Use basic foreign language skills, reaching level 1/6 in the Vietnam Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign language skills in the professional work of the industry.
