Regulations on Minimum Knowledge Requirements for the Intermediate Level in the Agricultural Promotion and Forestry Sector

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulates the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at intermediate and college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine, which takes effect on February 10, 2019.

According to the regulations on minimum knowledge requirements and competencies that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the agricultural extension sector, issued with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the required knowledge upon graduation from the intermediate level in the agricultural extension sector is as follows:

- Be able to present the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party and the State on the development of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries;

- Be able to present knowledge related to agricultural extension methods, training, workshops, agricultural extension communication information, and agricultural extension planning;

- Be able to describe activities of building demonstration models, conducting training workshops; providing consultancy and services in agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production;

- Be able to present basic knowledge about the techniques of livestock breeding for certain animal species, aquaculture, and the technical processes of propagating, planting, caring for, harvesting, and preserving products from common agricultural and forestry plants;

- Be able to present several methods and techniques for environmental protection; regulations on labor safety, and labor protection policies in the agriculture and forestry sector;

- Be able to present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education, and informatics as per regulations.
