Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs on December 28, 2018, stipulates the minimum volume of knowledge and requirements for competencies that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary medicine.

According to the Regulation on Minimum Knowledge, Competency Requirements for Students after Graduation from Intermediate and College Levels in Forestry, issued in conjunction with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge required after graduation from the intermediate level in forestry is specified as follows:
- Articulate general knowledge about the guidelines, policies, and laws on forestry; survey and assess the current status of natural, economic – social conditions;
- Present basic knowledge about surveying, mapping; methods of using surveying instruments, equipment, and specialized software;
- Articulate basic knowledge of plant physiology, soil – fertilizers, forest plants, forest animals, climate – weather, and related knowledge;
- Articulate the main content of the management, protection, and development of protection forests, special-use forests, and production forests;
- Present some general techniques of planting, caring for, nurturing, and restoring forests; prevent and control forest pests, prevent and fight forest fires, prevent livestock and humans from damaging forests;
- Articulate some basic content about logging, processing forest products;
- Articulate some management contents, protect wild, rare, and captive-bred forest animals and plants;
- Articulate the organizational system, duties, and powers of inspection bodies at different levels; duties and powers of forestry officers during official duties;
- Present safety labor regulations and implement them;
- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense security, physical education, and IT according to regulations.
