Minimum Knowledge of Veterinary Service Sector at Intermediate Level

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by MOLISA on December 28, 2018, provides regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine.

According to the regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level and college level in the veterinary service sector issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level in veterinary services is as follows:

- Present general knowledge about pharmacology, immunology, livestock techniques, and laws related to the field of veterinary services;

- Present knowledge about pathology, diagnosis, and prevention and treatment of common animal diseases; knowledge about pet care services;

- Present basic knowledge about semen harvesting and processing, obstetrics practice;

- Present knowledge about management, marketing, veterinary medicine business, and livestock feed business;

- Describe the steps to open a pet care service, open a veterinary medicine store, and livestock feed store;

- Present methods of agricultural extension and the transfer of techniques in the field of veterinary animal husbandry;

- Briefly describe the stages in building and implementing disease prevention procedures;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education, and informatics according to regulations.
