Which candidates are prioritized for recruitment as public employees?
Based on Article 6 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulating the prioritized candidates in public employee recruitment as follows:
- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, wounded soldiers, persons benefiting from policies like wounded soldiers, type B wounded soldiers: An additional 7.5 points will be added to the results of round 2;
- Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, retired professional soldiers, cryptographic personnel transferring to another sector, graduates of reserve officer training, graduates of commune-level military command post commander training in the grassroots military field who were conferred the rank of reserve officer and have registered as reserve officers, children of martyrs, children of wounded soldiers, children of sick soldiers, children of persons benefiting from policies like wounded soldiers, children of type B wounded soldiers, biological children of those who participated in resistance activities and were exposed to toxic chemicals, children of Heroes of the Armed Forces, children of Heroes of Labor: An additional 5 points will be added to the results of round 2;
- Persons who have completed military service, persons who have completed their police service, and youth volunteers: An additional 2.5 points will be added to the results of round 2.
Note: If a candidate belongs to multiple prioritized categories, the highest additional points from one category will be added to the round 2 results.

How many members are on the public employee recruitment committee?
Based on Article 8 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulating as follows:
Public Employee Recruitment Committee
1. In cases where a public service provider is delegated the authority to recruit, the recruitment committee will have 05 or 07 members, including:
a) The chairman of the committee is the head or deputy head of the public service provider;
b) The vice-chairman of the committee is the person in charge of personnel organization of the public service provider;
c) A member and secretary of the committee is a public employee assisting in personnel organization of the public service provider;
d) Other members are persons with professional expertise related to the recruitment process as decided by the head of the public service provider.
In cases where it is not possible to appoint a chairman of the recruitment committee as stipulated in point a of this clause, the authority managing the public service provider will consider and decide.
2. In cases where the authority managing the public service provider conducts the recruitment, the recruitment committee will have 05 or 07 members, including:
a) The chairman of the committee is the head or deputy head of the recruiting authority;
b) The vice-chairman of the committee is the head of the advisory department for personnel organization of the recruiting authority;
c) A member and secretary of the committee is the representative of the advisory department for personnel organization of the recruiting authority;
d) Other members are persons with professional expertise related to the recruitment process as decided by the head of the recruiting authority.

Thus, the public employee recruitment committee will have 5 or 7 members, including:
- The chairman of the committee is the head or deputy head of the public service provider;
- The vice-chairman of the committee is the person in charge of personnel organization of the public service provider;
- A member and secretary of the committee is a public employee assisting in personnel organization of the public service provider;
- Other members are persons with professional expertise related to the recruitment process as decided by the head of the public service provider.
In cases where it is not possible to appoint a chairman of the recruitment committee as stipulated in point a of this clause, the authority managing the public service provider will consider and decide.
When are the public employee recruitment results recognized?
Based on Article 16 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulating as follows:
Announcement of public employee recruitment results
1. After completing the grading of round 2 exams as stipulated in Article 15 of this Decree, the recruitment committee must report to the head of the recruiting authority to review and recognize the recruitment results within 05 working days.
2. Within 10 days from the date of the decision recognizing the recruitment results, the recruitment committee must publicly announce on the electronic information page or portal of the recruiting authority and send written results notices to the candidates at the address registered by the candidates. The announcement must clearly state the deadline by which successful candidates must come to the recruiting authority to complete recruitment procedures.
Thus, the public employee recruitment results will be announced no later than 05 working days after the completion of the grading of round 2 exams.
