According to Part A of the Plan on mobilizing children to graduate and enroll in the first grades of the school year 2022 - 2023, issued together with Decision 773/QD-UBND in 2022 as follow:
- Ensure enough study places for the children of the city people, especially children of policy families, poor families, workers, orphans, orphans due to the COVID-19 pandemic; well implement the universalization of preschool education for five-year-old children, universalization of compulsory primary education at the right age, universalization of secondary education; well perform the job of career guidance and stream students after lower secondary school; encourage students to take the entrance exam for 10th grade to choose aspirations suitable to their own abilities, close to their residence to facilitate continuing to go to school when matriculating and reduce traffic pressure according to the City's policy.
- Ensure 100% of students in grades 1, 2, and 3 and encourage students in grades 6, 7, and 10 to study 2 sessions/day to implement the 2018 General Education Program; develop a Plan The next year's plan for the remaining classes will also be taught 2 sessions/day at the same time
Encourage the continued development of schools implementing the high-quality program "advanced schools, international integration" in Ho Chi Minh City; Encourage secondary schools to organize intensive teaching of English, mathematics and natural sciences in foreign languages in order to implement the policy of proactive integration and implementation of high-quality human resource training programs of City; Encourage the organization of teaching and learning Maths, Science and English subjects integrating the English and Vietnamese Programs at schools in the city; Focus on implementing the Decision No. 762/QD-UBND dated March 8, 2021 of the City People's Committee on approving the project "Improving the capacity, knowledge and skills to apply Informatics for high school students Ho Chi Minh City traffic according to international standard orientation in period 2021 - 2030".
- Strictly comply with the regulations at each level of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring seriousness, safety, fairness, accuracy, properly assessing learners' qualifications, reflecting the quality of teaching and learning.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines on disease prevention and control at all levels when organizing enrollment.
- Creat favorable conditions when applying for admission, 100% of units have built an online enrollment plan. Schools are strictly prohibited from campaigning, making donations and collecting extraneous amounts when enrolling students.

The sports subjects will conduct the enrollment at Nguyen Thi Dinh High School for the Gifted in Physical Training and Sports and Binh Chanh School for the Gifted in Physical Training and Sports according to Section IV, Part B on the plan to mobilize children to graduate and enroll in the first grades of the school year 2022 - 2023 issued together with Decision 773/QD-UBND in 2022 includes: football, volleyball, athletics, martial arts, badminton, swimming and shuttlecock kicking.
Applications and conditions for admission to high schools for the gifted in physical training and sports in Ho Chi Minh City
Pursuant to the above regulations, application for admission to the above specialized schools are as follows:
- Submit application for admission at the school expected from June 1 to June 30, 2022 (according to the guidance of the Admission Council at the school).
- Accept students graduating from lower secondary schools of other provinces if they meet all the conditions as prescribed.
- Priority is given to students with special talents in physical education and sports who have graduated from junior high school at Nguyen Thi Dinh High School for the Gifted in Physical Education and Sports.
- Eligibility Criteria:
+ Graduate from junior high school and met the requirements for admission to grade 10.
+ Win the sport awards at the district level, the city level, the Phu Dong health association.
+ Grade 9's behavior from Good or higher; Grade 9 academic performance from Average or above.
+ Be tested by the Board of Physical Education and Sports Talented Admissions Committee and approved by the Department of Education and Training.
- If the student is not accepted into the 10th grade for the gifted in physical education and sports, the student is still allowed to participate in the 10th grade of other high schools according to the 03 registered aspirations.

According to Section IV Part B of the Plan to mobilize children to graduate and enroll in the first grades of the school year 2022 - 2023 issued together with Decision 773/QD-UBND in 2022, the enrollment exam for 10th grade is:
Exam subject:
Written exam in three subjects: Literature, Mathematics and Foreign Language.
Estimated exam date: June 11, 2022.
Exam time:
- Literature, Math: 120 minutes/exam.
- Foreign Language: 90 minutes.
Test scores and test scores:
- The test score is the sum of the component scores of each question in the test, the test scores are given on a scale from 0 to 10, odd to 0.25.
- Coefficient of test scores: Math, Literature and Foreign Language all have a coefficient of 1.
Additional points for the object entitled to the maximum priority regime are not more than 3 points.
The admission score is the total score of three tests and the extra points for priority subjects. Successful candidates must take all three exams and none of them get a score of 0 (zero).
Depend on the enrollment target of each school, the number of registered aspiration and admission scores, the Department of Education and Training will review and announce the standard scores of each school according to the aspiration standard principle the aspiration standard score 2 higher than the aspiration standard score 1 and the aspiration standard score 3 higher than the aspiration standard score 2.
The student's admission will be based on 03 aspirations registered in order of priority from desire 1 to desire 2 and desire 3.
Schools are only allowed to accept students passed grade 10 according to the list approved by the Department of Education and Training.
Students who do not pass all 3 aspirations can apply for 10th grade admission at Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers, private schools or participate in other types of education and training.
