According to Article 18 of Decree 30/2017/ND-CP, benefits for those on duty during No. 3 typhoon are as follows:
(1) Benefit Levels
Individuals on duty at the National Committee for Disaster Response and Search and Rescue, and at various levels of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue under ministries, central authorities, and local authorities are entitled to night duty policies (starting from 10 PM) as follows:
- Level 1: For duty lasting 4 hours or more per day, additional meal allowance per day is 4% multiplied by the statutory pay rate as per current regulations;- Level 2: For duty lasting from 2 to under 4 hours, the additional meal allowance is 2% multiplied by the statutory pay rate as per current regulations.
According to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the statutory pay rate from July 1, 2024, is 2,340,000 VND/month. |
(2) Number of Duty Personnel
- At the National Committee for Disaster Response and Search and Rescue as regulated by the Chairman of the National Committee for Disaster Response and Search and Rescue;- At various levels of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue as regulated by the Head of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue at ministries, central authorities, and provincial levels.

c) Propagate and mobilize members, party members, union members, association members, and the populace to comply with the Constitution and laws, and to implement the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front;
d) Mobilize their members, party members, union members, and association members to correctly implement the policy of great national unity;
dd) Unite, cooperate, and assist organizations and individuals who have not joined the Vietnam Fatherland Front but support and uphold the spirit, implement the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front;
e) Participate in performing the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
