What is the application form for reissuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 7 of Decree No. 68/2015/ND-CP, the re-issuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts shall be implemented when the Certificate of registration of Vietnamese nationality of aircrafts or the Certificate of registration of temporary Vietnamese nationality of aircrafts is damaged or lost.
At that time, the applicant shall send a written notification to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to apply for reissuance.
The application form for reissuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts is made according to Form No. 03, Appendix I issued together with Decree No. 64/2022/ND-CP.

How many sets of applications for reissuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts are made?
Pursuant to Clause 15.3 subsection 15 Section A Part II Administrative procedures promulgated together with Decision No. 1204/QD-BGTVT in 2022, the application for re-issuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts is made into 01 set with the following documents:
- Application form as prescribed;
- A copy from the master book or a certified copy from the original or a copy taken from the original or a copy to present the original for comparison or an electronic copy from the original book or a certified electronic copy of the original document proving the legal status of the applicant in case the applicant is a Vietnamese organization or individual.
In case papers and documents proving the legal status of the applicant are issued by a competent foreign agency, these papers and documents must be consularly legalized in accordance with law, except for the case of are exempt from consular legalization under international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a contracting party or on the principle of reciprocity.
Documents are sent to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam in the following ways:
- Submit application directly; or
- Submit via the postal system; or
- Online; or
- Other suitable forms.
What are the procedures for reissuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 15.1, subsection 15, Section A, Part II Administrative procedures promulgated together with Decision No. 1204/QD-BGTVT in 2022, the procedures for reissuance of the certificate of nationality registration of aircrafts are as follows:
Step 1: Submit the application
The applicant for re-issuance of the Certificate of Nationality registration of aircrafts shall send the application file directly, via the postal system or in the electronic environment or by other means to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and shall be responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information recorded in the dossier.
Step 2:
- Within three (03) working days from the day on which the satisfactory application is received, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam shall carry out the reissuance of the Certificate of Vietnamese nationality aircraft or the Certificate of temporary Vietnamese nationality aircrafts; revocation of the Certificate of Vietnamese nationality aircraft or the Certificate of registration of temporary Vietnamese nationality of aircrafts, unless it is lose, and post the notification on website of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
- If the application is not satisfactory, within two (02) working days from the day on which the application is received, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam shall issue a guiding document for completion according to regulations.
Thus, the time limit for settlement is 03 working days from the date of receipt of satisfactory dossiers as prescribed.
