Procedures for directly registering temporary residence at the local commune police agency?

Based on Subsection 3, Section 2, Part Two issued together with Decision 5548/QD-BCA-C06 of 2021, the procedures for directly registering temporary residence at the local commune police agency are as follows:

- Step 1: Individuals or organizations prepare the documents as required by law.

- Step 2: Individuals or organizations submit the documents to the Commune-level Police.

- Step 3: Upon receiving the temporary residence registration documents, the residence registration agency will check the legality and the content of the documents:

+ If the documents are complete and valid, the documents will be accepted, and a Receipt Notice and an Appointment Slip (form CT04 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA) will be issued to the applicant;

+ If the documents are eligible but incomplete, instructions will be provided for supplementation and perfection, and a Supplementary Guide Notice (form CT05 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA) will be issued to the applicant;

+ If the documents are not eligible, they will be rejected, and a Rejection Notice (form CT06 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA) will be issued to the applicant.

- Step 4: Individuals or organizations pay the residence registration fee according to the regulations.

- Step 5: Based on the appointment date on the Receipt Notice and Appointment Slip, individuals or organizations will receive the notice of the result of the residence registration procedures (if any).

Note:

- Document reception time: During office hours on working days from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings weekly (except for public holidays and Tet as prescribed by law).

- Besides submitting documents directly at the Commune-level Police, citizens can also do so via the following methods:

+ Submitting documents online through online public service portals such as: the online service portal at the National Public Service Portal, the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal, or the Residence Management Public Service Portal.

What are the latest documents required for temporary residence registration?

Based on Subsection 3, Section 2, Part Two issued together with Decision 5548/QD-BCA-C06 of 2021, the components of the latest temporary residence registration documents include:

(1) Documents for temporary residence registration include:

- Declaration form for change of residence information (Form CT01 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA); for individuals who are minors, the form must clearly state the consent of the parents or guardians, except where such consent has already been given in writing;

- Documents proving legal accommodation.

(2) For temporary residence registration at the place of a police unit's base, the documents include:

- Declaration form for change of residence information (Form CT01 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA);

- Introduction letter from the direct management unit head stating the purpose of temporary residence registration and the unit's provision of accommodation for officers and soldiers (signed and stamped).

(3) For group temporary residence registration, the documents include:

- A Declaration form for change of residence information (for each person) (Form CT01 issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA);

- A written request for temporary residence registration specifying the information about the legal accommodation along with the list of individuals temporarily residing. The list must include basic information about each person: full name; date, month, year of birth; gender; personal identification number and temporary residence duration.
