Based on the provisions of Clause 2, Article 9 of the Regulation on speaking and providing information to the press by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism issued in conjunction with Decision 562/QD-BVHTTDL in 2023, the contents periodically provided by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism include:
- The status and results of task implementation by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in areas under the Ministry's state management; the Ministry's action program; key activities of Ministry Leaders; results of the implementation of the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, policies, and laws of the State in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports, and tourism;
- Legal documents, administrative documents carrying out tasks within the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's state management scope;
- Perspectives and directions of Ministry Leaders on matters of public and media interest;
- Plans, work programs; content of conferences, seminars, and meetings of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to be widely communicated to various levels, sectors, and the public;
- Other internal and external activities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism that need to be announced to the press as required by the Ministry Leaders.

In which unexpected, urgent cases must the spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism promptly speak and provide information to the press?
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 10 of the Regulation on speaking and providing information to the press by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism issued in conjunction with Decision 562/QD-BVHTTDL in 2023, the spokesperson or authorized person to speak and provide information to the press of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is responsible for promptly speaking and providing information to the press in the following unexpected, urgent cases:
- When it is deemed necessary to inform the press about significant events and issues having a large social impact within the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's state management scope to promptly warn and direct public opinion; to inform about the Ministry's viewpoint and handling approach for these events and issues;
- When the press agency or the agency directing, managing state affairs regarding the press requires a spokesperson or provides information about issues within the Ministry's management that have been mentioned in the press or events, issues mentioned at Point a Clause 1 of this Article;
- When there is a basis to believe the press has published false information about the area under the management of the Ministry, the spokesperson requires the press agency to post the feedback and corrections as legally stipulated;
- In case of an incident requiring early information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the spokesperson is responsible for promptly speaking, providing information to the press within no more than 24 hours after the incident occurs.
In what forms does the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organize to periodically provide information to the press?
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 9 of the Regulation on speaking and providing information to the press by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism issued in conjunction with Decision 562/QD-BVHTTDL in 2023, the forms of periodically providing information to the press about activities within the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's management scope are as follows:
- Monthly, information is provided to the press by updating information on the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's electronic portal or the official website of agencies, units under the Ministry following the Government of Vietnam’s regulations on providing information and online public services on the electronic portal or official website of state agencies;
- At least once every three months, press conferences are organized to provide periodic information to the press;
- If necessary, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organizes periodic information to the press via documents or direct information at weekly briefings hosted by the Central Propaganda Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, and Vietnam Journalists Association and at regular press conferences organized by the Government Office of Vietnam;
- Providing prompt, accurate information to the Government of Vietnam’s electronic portal as per current regulations.
