What are the regulations on the revenues and expenditures of the Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology?
Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 23 of the Charter of Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology, issued together with Decision 81/QD-BNV in 2023, stipulating the revenue of the Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology as follows:
- Joining fees, annual membership fees;
- Revenues from scientific and technological activities, consulting, service, publishing, seminars and training activities as prescribed by law;
- Funding, support of organizations and individuals at home and abroad according to the provisions of law;
- State support associated with assigned tasks (if any);
- Other lawful revenues;
At the same time, according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 23 of the Charter of Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology, issued together with Decision 81/QD-BNV in 2023, regulating the expenses of the Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology include:
- Expenses for regular activities of the Society's Office;
- Expenses for scientific and technological activities, consulting, appraisal, criticism, information, propaganda, publication, conferences, seminars, training and refresher courses on professional knowledge for members;
- Expenses for office rental, maintenance, repair, and equipment procurement for the Society's activities;
- Pay salaries, allowances, travel expenses and pay social insurance and health insurance for full-time workers or contract cases of the Society according to the provisions of law and administrative expenses of the Society;
- Expenses for activities chaired or coordinated by the Society;
- Expenses for rewards and other expenses as prescribed by the Executive Board.

What do the assets of the Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology include?
Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 23 of the Charter of Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology issued together with Decision 81/QD-BNV in 2023, regulating the assets of the Vietnam Society of Pathology and Cytology include:
- The Society's assets include the headquarters, equipment and means for the Society's activities. The Society's assets are formed from the Society's funding; donated or donated by organizations and individuals at home and abroad according to the provisions of law; State support (if any).
- The Society's Office is responsible for managing, preserving and using assets for the right purposes and effectively. If the property is damaged and cannot be repaired for further use, the Society's Office shall carry out liquidation procedures and submit it to the Chairman for decision.
- The management and use of the Society's assets shall comply with the provisions of civil law, relevant laws and the Society's Charter. For public property, the law on management and use of public property shall be complied with.
How are the powers of the Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology regulated?
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 6 of the Charter of Viet Nam Society of Pathology and Cytology issued together with Decision 81/QD-BNV in 2023, defining the powers of the Vietnam Society of Pathology and Cytology as follows:
- Propagating the purpose of the Society.
- Representing members in internal and external relationships related to the functions and duties of the Society in accordance with the law.
- Protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the Society and its members in accordance with the Society's principles and purposes as prescribed by law.
- Participating in programs, projects, research topics, consulting, criticism and social assessment at the request of state agencies; providing services and information in the field of activities of the Society in accordance with the law.
- Giving opinions on legal documents related to the activities of the Society in accordance with the law. To propose to competent state agencies on issues related to the development of the Society and the fields of operation of the Society.
- Coordinating with relevant agencies and organizations to perform the Society's tasks.
- Establishing organizations with legal status directly under the Society in accordance with the law and the Society's Charter to perform a number of tasks in accordance with the Society's principles, purposes and fields of operation.
- Raising funds for the Society on the basis of member's membership fees and revenue from service activities as prescribed by law to self-finance the operating expenses.
- Cooperating with organizations and individuals at home and abroad in accordance with the law to exchange experiences, improve capacity, and enlist help in the fields of lawful activities of the Society. To receive legal funding sources from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals according to the provisions of law.
- Joining the respective international organizations and sign and implement international agreements in accordance with the law after obtaining the agreement of the competent authorities, state management agencies in charge of industries and fields. In the area where the Society operates, the body that decides to allow the establishment of the Society on joining the respective international organization, signing and implementing international agreements.
- Consider commending and recommending agencies and organizations to reward according to the provisions of law.
- Participating in relevant activities of the Vietnam General Medical Society and introducing candidates for election to the Executive Board of the Vietnam General Medical Society in accordance with the provisions of the Vietnam General Medical Society.
