"What are the instructions for writing the self-review by communist party members in Vietnam in 2022? Who must write the self-review for communist party members?" - asked Ms. Ngoc (Quang Nam)

What is the purpose of writing the self-review by communist party members in 2022?

Under Section I of Guidance 21-HD/BTCTW of 2019, individuals write the self-review to conduct self-criticism, criticism, and annual assessment, and to grade quality to allow CPV committees, party organizations, collective leadership of agencies, units, and each individual to self-inspect and self-correct, thereby establishing policies and solutions to promote strengths and overcome limitations and weaknesses in leadership, management, execution, and task performance; to serve as a basis for implementing personnel work; and to contribute to enhancing the leadership capacity and combativeness of the party organizations and members.

In addition, the self-review by communist party members must meet the following requirements:

- In self-review, it is necessary to overcome the conditions of indulgence, avoidance, reluctance to confront, failure to protect what is right, and not fighting against what is wrong; identify signs of political, ideological, ethical, lifestyle degradation, "self-evolution", and "self-transformation" for correction and resolution; using the results of collective self-criticism as a basis to assess individuals and using the results of supplement and complete collective self-criticism.

It must have ongoing, multi-dimensional assessment, according to criteria, with specific outcomes, comparisons between equivalent positions, and public results; linking individual quality grading with the collective and the mission outcomes of the localities, agencies, and units.

- CPV committees, party organizations, and leaders of organizations, agencies, and units, especially heads and each cadre and communist party member, must seriously self-criticize, assess, and grade the annual quality of communist party members. The superior CPV committee must strengthen leadership, direct, guide, urge, inspect, and supervise the implementation to ensure objectivity, comprehensiveness, and substance.
