The business registration account is defined in Clause 4 Article 26 of the Law on enterprises and used for authentication of an online application for enterprise registration in case the person competent to sign the application form for enterprise registration does not use a digital signature. Business registration accounts are created from the National Enterprise Registration Information System and issued to individuals to apply for enterprise registration online. Individuals shall access the National Business Registration Portal for providing information and creating business registration accounts. Personal information provided by the applicant on the National Business Registration Portal for granting a business registration account must be adequate and accurate as that in his/her legal documents and ensure the authentication of the applicant by the National Enterprise Registration Information System.

Thus, a business registration account means an account created by the National Enterprise Registration Information System for an individual to apply for online enterprise registration.

Accordingly, 01 business registration account is only granted to one individual.

Currently, the registration of a business account on the Vietnam National Enterprise Registration Information System is done according to the following steps:

Step 1:

Log in to the Vietnam National Enterprise Registration Information System by following the link <https://dangkytinhdoanh.gov.vn/>

Step 2:

At the homepage, click "Create a new account" at the login panel.

Step 3:

- Enter personal information of the registrant, including: Personal information; Address; Residential address; Contact details;

- Enter Captcha code, then Click [Register] button to send account registration request

- The system displays a notification that an account activation email has been sent to the email address that the applicant/registrant has registered. At the same time, the system automatically sends an activation email to the registered address of the applicant/registrant to activate the user account.

Step 4:

- Log in to the registered email address, open the account activation email sent by the System. Click on the account activation link and complete the account registration process

- In case of successful activation, the system displays a message that the account has been activated successfully.

Note: In case the system notices that the account has not been successfully activated, the applicant/registrant needs to continue to log in as usual, if still not able to log in

Step 5:

Back to the homepage, log in to the created account

Step 6:

At the toolbar, select “Personal Information Management”, select [Request a Business Registration Account] or [Change Personal Information], then click the [Request a Business Registration Account] button.

Step 7:

Tick “I agree to the terms and conditions to be assigned a Business Registration Account with the Business Registration Office

Select and download personal authentication documents: Click [Browse] button to search for personal authentication documents, then Click [Upload] button to download documents

Step 8:

Fill in the information of the personal identification paper, including: Type of personal certificate, Number of personal certificate, Date of issue, Place of issue, Expiry date

Press the [Confirm] button to send the request

Step 9: To check the status of the Business Registration Account after being accepted, select [Change Personal Information] -> Information about Business Registered Account

What are the conditions to be granted a Business Registration Account in Vietnam?

According to the guidance of the Business Registration Administration (Ministry of Planning and Investment), in order to be granted a business registration account, the following conditions must be met:

(1) The business registration account sent through the Vietnam National Enterprise Registration Information System is activated when the following requirements are fully met:

- The user fully and accurately declares the required information;

- The user must attach an electronic copy of the valid personal identification document when registering for an account;

- An individual cannot register more than one Business Registration Account.

(2) The declaration of business account registration information is considered complete and accurate when the user fully declares the required information and this information must be exactly as displayed. in the electronic version of the attached personal identification paper.

User information required to declare includes: Full name; Sex; Date of birth; Nationality; Nation; Address; Permanent address; Email; Phone; Type of personal identification papers; Number of personal identification papers; Date Range; Issued by.

(3) Personal identification documents used to register a Business Registration Account include:

- Valid ID card/citizen ID card;

- A valid Vietnamese passport;

- A valid foreign passport.

(4) Electronic copy A valid personal identification document is an electronic copy created from scanning or taking pictures from the original paper, which must ensure clear, complete and accurate display of information. as the original paper, with no signs of cutting, fading or partial loss of information.

(5) After activating or refusing to activate the Business Registration Account, the Business Registration Support Center sends an email notice to the user.
