- The Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bar Federation is responsible for organizing the implementation of resolutions and decisions of the Bar Congress and operating the activities of the Vietnam Bar Federation.
- The Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bar Federation has a Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members. The number of Vice-Chairmen and members of the Vietnam Bar Federation's Executive Board shall be prescribed by the Vietnam Bar Federation's Regulations.
- The Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bar Federation is elected by the Bar Congress and has a term of five years according to the term of the Congress of the Vietnam Bar Federation. The term of office of the Vietnam Bar Federation's Executive Board ends when the Vietnam Bar Federation's term congress elects a new Chairman and the results of the Vietnam Bar Federation's Congress are approved by the People's Committee of the province or centrally run city.

- The meeting of the Board of Directors is convened by the Chairman of the Vietnam Bar Federation. 3. Lawyers participating in the Management Board of the Vietnam Bar Federation must fully meet the following criteria:
a) Have strong political will, loyalty to the Fatherland, compliance with the Constitution, exemplary compliance with the provisions of the law, the Charter of the Vietnam Bar Federation, the Code of Ethics and professional conduct Vietnamese lawyers, Rules of Vietnam Bar Federation;
b) Have at least 03 years of experience in law practice;
c) Have management and administration capacity;

"Article 22. Board of Directors of Vietnam Bar Federation

4. Lawyers falling into one of the following cases may not stand for election or receive nominations for election to the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bar Federation:
a) Have been disciplined by the Vietnam Bar Federation, the Vietnam Bar Federation or the mass organization in which the lawyer participates during the term;
b) Be accepted by the Vietnam Bar Federation, the Vietnam Bar Federation for consideration and disciplinary action;
