Pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDĐT stipulates as follows:

Uniforms, vestments
1. Uniform means a costume worn by all pupils and students in Vietnam of a school when coming to school in order to raise the sense of responsibility, honor and pride in the school's traditions, show equality among pupils and students in Vietnam, contribute to building a learning environment, cultural lifestyle.
Uniforms include: Uniform pants, uniform shirts (shirt, jacket or tunic), badges, shoes or sandals.
2. Vestment means a costume worn by pupils and students of a school (or a branch) at the ceremony of receiving diplomas of higher education institutions or professional secondary education institutions, creating solemnity, raising the sense of responsibility, honor and pride of learners, honoring the profession, expressing the cultural beauty of the Vietnamese nation.
Vestments include: shirts, hats and school logos (if any).

According to the above, the dress code of students at the graduation ceremony is prescribed as follows:

- Vestments include: shirts, hats and logos of the school (if any).

- Vestments are used for students of a school (or industry) to wear during the ceremony of receiving diplomas of higher education institutions, professional secondary education, creating solemnity, raising the sense of responsibility, honor, pride of learners, honoring professions, etc expressing the cultural beauty of the Vietnamese nation.

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDĐT stipulates as follows:

1. Principles of wearing uniforms
a/ To ensure aesthetics, suitability to genders and ages of pupils and students and cultural identity of the nation and characteristics of each locality, while ensuring stability and expression of traditions of the school.
b/ Being suitable to weather conditions, convenient for studying, living at school and participating in other activities.
c/ To ensure savings, in conformity with the socio-economic conditions of each locality and each school.
2. Principles of wearing tuxedos
a/ To ensure uniformity in each school or training branch.
b/ To ensure aesthetics and education in diploma awarding ceremonies.
c/ To distinguish graduates of trained levels: intermediate and university.
d/ To ensure the scientificness and expression of traditional cultural beauty of the Vietnamese nation.
3. In case of funding from domestic or foreign organizations and individuals, uniforms and vestments must ensure the provisions of this document and must not abuse the sponsorship for advertising.
4. Ethnic minority pupils and students in Vietnam are encouraged to use their national costumes on holidays, New Year's holidays, festivals and on days when uniforms are not required by schools.

According to the above regulations, the principle of graduation vestments of students is prescribed as follows:

- Ensure consistency in each school or each training discipline.

- Ensure aesthetics and education in diploma awarding ceremonies.

- Ensure the distinction between graduates of trained levels: intermediate and university.

- Ensure the scientific, expressing the beauty of traditional culture of the Vietnamese nation.

What are the regulations on students' graduation dress standards in Vietnam?

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the standards of students' dresses as follows:

- Shirt: light, wide, knee-length outerwear, airy, cool fabric, elegant and formal decoration suitable for both summer and winter use, expressing modernity and beauty of Vietnamese traditional culture.

- Hat: the color of the hat matches the color of the shirt, ensuring aesthetics and formality.

- The school's logo is mounted on the left chest.

- When the school has not prescribed its own vestments, it may be used: dark suits, shirts, cravat for boys; Traditional suits or dresses for women.

What are the responsibilities of universities, academies, universities, colleges, and professional secondary schools in implementing regulations on student vestments in Vietnam?

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 8 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the responsibilities of universities, academies, universities, colleges and professional secondary schools in student vestments as follows:

- Depending on the climate and weather of the regions and regions, based on the conditions of the school, the consensus on the policy of the School Council, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Students' Union of the school (if any), the Director of universities, academies, rectors of universities and colleges, The professional intermediate decides on the wearing of uniforms, tuxedos, regulations on styles and colors and directs the organization of the wearing of tuxedos by students and graduates.

- Students or the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the school's Students' Union (if any) organize the sewing or purchase of uniforms in accordance with this Circular and other regulations of the school.
