- Connection between national natural resources and environment monitoring databases, field natural resources and environment monitoring databases, and provincial natural resources and environment monitoring databases through data integration and sharing platforms of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
- Connection between the database of natural resources and environment monitoring of ministries and sectors and the national database of natural resources and environment monitoring through the national data integration and sharing platform or the data integration and sharing platform of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
- Connection between the natural resources and environment monitoring database of organizations and individuals and the national open database on natural resources and environment monitoring, the provincial open database on natural resources and environment monitoring through the data sharing and integration platform of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the provincial data integration and sharing platform.

+ National natural resources and environment monitoring database;
+ Field natural resources and environment monitoring database;
+ Natural resources and environment monitoring database of ministries and sectors;
+ Provincial natural resources and environment monitoring database;
+ Natural resources and environment monitoring database of domestic and international organizations and individuals;
+ Open database for natural resources and environment monitoring.
- National natural resources and environment monitoring database is a natural resources and environment monitoring database synthesized, linked, and integrated from natural resources and environment monitoring databases nationwide, serving the purpose of connecting, providing and sharing natural resources and environment monitoring data according to regulations, including:
+ Subjective data on natural resources and environment monitoring;
+ Data on a shared list of natural resources and environment monitoring;
+ General data, thematic natural resources and environment monitoring;
+ Metadata on natural resources and environment monitoring;

+ Natural resources and environment monitoring database as prescribed in Clause 3 Article 5 of Circular 15/2023/TT-BTNMT under provincial management;
+ Open database for natural resources and environment monitoring;
+ Other natural resources and environment monitoring databases do not fall into the cases specified at Points a and b of this Clause.
- Natural resources and environment monitoring database of ministries and sectors is a collection of natural resources and environment monitoring data under the management of ministries and sectors and formulated and managed by ministries and sectors.
- Natural resources and environment monitoring database of domestic and international organizations and individuals is a collection of natural resources and environment monitoring data formulated and managed by domestic and international organizations and individuals.
Circular 15/2023/TT-BTNMT will take effect from December 15, 2023.
