(1) Personal information
Personal information is the first information that candidates need to mention when preparing a CV. Specifically, the necessary personal information includes:

Candidates need to write information about their study and work process concisely and understandably.

Under the provisions of Article 10 of the Labor Code 2019 on the right to work of employees as follows:
Right to work of employees
1. An employee shall have the right to choose his employment, or employer in any location that is not prohibited by law.
2. An employee may directly contact an employer or through an employment service provider to find a job that meets his/her expectation, capacity, occupational qualifications and health.
Accordingly, employees have the right to find jobs suitable to their aspirations, abilities, occupational qualifications, and health.
The current set of job applications is not specified in the legal regulations. However, based on Clause 2, Article 16 of the Labor Code 2019 on the obligation to provide information about employees in Vietnam as follows:

The employee shall provide the employer with truthful information about his/her full name, date of birth, gender, residence, educational level, occupational skills and qualifications, health conditions and other issues directly related to the conclusion of the employment contract which are requested by the employer.

Regarding the case of using certificates or diplomas of others, under the provisions of Article 23 of Decree 04/2021/ND-CP as follows:
Violations against regulations on employment of teachers
1. The following fines shall be imposed for employing unqualified teachers:
a) A fine ranging from VND 5.000.000 to VND 10.000.000 shall be imposed if the violation involves an early childhood education institution, general education institution or continuing education institution;
b) A fine ranging from VND 10.000.000 to VND 20.000.000 shall be imposed if the violation involves a professional secondary school or college providing teacher training programs;
c) A fine ranging from VND 30.000.000 to VND 40.000.000 shall be imposed if the violation involves a higher education institution, academy or institute providing doctoral training programs.
2. A fine ranging from VND 40.000.000 to VND 50.000.000 shall be imposed for employing teachers who fail to meet professional qualification or foreign language proficiency requirements to provide joint education or joint training programs with foreign partners, to teach at foreign-invested educational institutions, or to carry out cooperation in examination for issuance of certificates of foreign language proficiency.
Thus, according to Clause 1 Article 23 of Decree 04/2021/ND-CP, when submitting a job application, an employee who uses certificates or diplomas of others may face a fine of VND 5 million to 10 million.
At the same time, if certificates or diplomas are erased or modified, they will be revoked.
