What are the Special Police combat uniforms in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA stipulating insignia, special work certificates, training costumes and combat uniforms of the Mobile Police in Vietnam issued by the Minister of Public Security in Vietnam.
The combat attire of the Special Police is specified in Article 16 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA as follows:
(1) List of spring-summer costumes, including:
- Police signals;
- Soft hat with Police Badge;
- Special Police helmets with Police badges;
- Anti-identification hats;
- Austria: left arm with Special Police sign; front of the chest on the right with the number; the left chest is emblazoned with the People's Police badge; collar with combined insignia;
- Mobile Police Symbol;
- People's Police number;
- Coat of arms of the People's Police;
- Combined insignia;
- Bras with Special Police symbols;
- Cross belt;
-Trousers;
-Belt;
- Shoes;
-Socks;
-Gloves.
(2) List of autumn-winter costumes, including:
- Police signals;
- Soft hat with Police Badge;
- Special Police helmets with Police badges;
- Anti-identification hats;
- Austria: left arm with Special Police sign; front of the chest on the right with the number; the left chest is emblazoned with the People's Police badge; collar with combined insignia;
- Mobile Police Symbol;
- People's Police number;
- Coat of arms of the People's Police;
- Combined insignia;
- Bras with Special Police symbols;
- Winter shirt: left arm shirt with Mobile Police of Vietnam sign; multi-layered; the chest must be numbered; the left chest is emblazoned with the People's Police badge; collar with combined insignia;
- Winter coat with hat (anti-cold): left arm with Special Police sign; warm material; the chest must be numbered; the left chest is emblazoned with the People's Public Security badge; collar with combined insignia;
- Cross belt;

Under what regulations is the list of military equipment and costumes of the Police protecting the target in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 17 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA, the police protect the objectives of using the costumes of the People's Police force specified in Decision 9350/QD-BCA-H03 of 2019 of the Minister of Public Security.
Accordingly, adding a list of military equipment for cadres and soldiers directly responsible for protecting targets, including:
- Cotton shirt;
- Cotton hat;
- Long-sleeved spring-summer pants and clothes;
- White gloves;
- Cross belt;
- Leather shoes.
Who are the subjects of using the Police costume protecting the target and the combat costume of the Special Police in Vietnam?
Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 3 Article 16 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA and Clause 3 Article 17 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA, users of police uniforms protecting targets and combat uniforms of special police are identified as follows:
- Subjects using combat uniforms of the Special Police: officers and soldiers of special police units under the Mobile Police Command and provincial police.
- Persons wearing the uniforms of the Target Protection Police: officers and soldiers of the Target Protection Unit and the Special Transport Protection Unit of the Mobile Police Command; Provincial police.
Is it permissible to buy and sell Mobile Police costumes in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 8 of the Law on Mobile Police in Vietnam 2022 as follows:
Prohibited acts
1. Opposing or obstructing the operation of the mobile police; retaliate, threaten or infringe upon the life, health, honor and dignity of mobile police officers and soldiers, agencies, organizations and individuals participating in coordinating, cooperating, supporting and assisting mobile police in the performance of their official duties or for reasons of public service.
2. Misappropriating, destroying, intentionally damaging, storing, producing, buying, selling and illegally using weapons, explosive materials, supporting tools, means and professional technical equipment of the Mobile Police.
3. Bribing, bribing or forcing mobile police officers and soldiers to act contrary to their assigned duties and powers.
4. Pretending to be mobile police officers and soldiers; forging vehicles, counterfeiting, buying, selling, illegally using costumes, insignia, seals, certificates of special work of the Mobile Police of Vietnam.
5. Mobile police officers and soldiers abuse or abuse their positions, powers and working positions to violate the law, infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations and individuals or commit acts of harassment or causing difficulties to agencies or organizations, individual.
Thus, according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 8 of the Law on Mobile Police in Vietnam 2022 mentioned above, the purchase and sale of costumes of mobile police is not allowed, one of the prohibited acts.
