What are the rules of the "I Paint Volunteer Colors" contest in 2024?

For the activity in "Color Festival" 2024 - The painting contest with the theme "I Paint Volunteer Colors", entries shall be received from May 6 to August 25, 2024 at the https://ngayhoisacmau.colokit.com website and the award of prizes shall be held in September 2024.

Participants:

- Vietnamese children from 6 to 15 years of age (grades 1 to 9)

- Participants shall be divided into 2 groups: Primary school students and lower secondary students

The content of the contest:

- Show children's affection for the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers.

- Sing beautiful images and gratitude for teachers, union members, and youths in the care, protection, and education of members of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers, adolescents, and children.

- Reflect on the exciting activities of detachments of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the volunteer program.

- Praise exemplary examples in volunteering, and caring for adolescents and children.

Form of entries:

- Use horizontal A3 paper size;

- Express the theme of the work, and the message clearly;

- Be allowed to use art tools: Pencils, plastic colored wax, multi-purpose colored wax, oil colors, watercolors, crayons, & other fine art materials;

Educational levels and entry ages

1. Educational levels and age groups of general education are regulated as follows:

a) Primary education lasts for 05 academic years, from the first to the fifth grade. The entry age for the first grade is 06;

b) Lower secondary education lasts for 04 academic years, from the sixth to the ninth grade. Students must complete the primary educational program before entering the sixth grade. The entry age for the sixth grade is 11;

c) Upper secondary education lasts for 03 academic years, from the tenth to the twelfth grade. Students must complete the lower secondary educational program before entering the tenth grade. The entry age for the tenth grade is 15;

For primary school students

Under Article 34 of the primary school charter promulgated together with Circular 28/2020/TT-BGDDT, the duties of primary school students in Vietnam are:

- Study and train according to the educational plan and rules of the school; have a sense of self-discipline in learning and training to comprehensively develop qualities and capacities according to the objectives of the general education program at the primary level.

- Fully and effectively perform academic tasks; know how to self-study under the guidance of a teacher; actively and actively participate in experiential activities, apply learned knowledge into real life; exercise your body, maintain personal hygiene.

- Be filial to parents and grandparents; show them respect and civility; be kind to your instructors and elders; and come together to support your friends, family, and those who are less fortunate or have disabilities;

- Abide by rules and protect school property and public places; observe traffic order and safety; maintain hygiene and protect the environment

- Contribute to fostering, preservation, and enhancement of traditions of schools and localities.

For secondary school students

Under the provisions of Article 34 of the Charter of lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools with many education levels promulgated together with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, the duties of secondary school students in Vietnam are:

- Learn and train according to the curricula and education plans of their schools.

- Respect their parents, officials, teachers, and staff of their schools, and those older than them; maintain solidarity and mutual support in learning and training; conform to the charter and rules of their schools; and abide by the law.

- Take exercises and maintain personal hygiene.

- Participate in group activities of their schools and classes, Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; help their families, join physical and social activities and environmental protection activities, and maintain traffic order and safety.

- Protect school and public property; contribute to fostering, preservation, and enhancement of school traditions.
