- Implementing the direction of Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Ms. Phan Thi Thang in Official Dispatch No. 3886/UBND-KT dated November 22, 2021 and Official Dispatch No. 1852/UBND-KT of Office of the City People's Committee on coordination in deploying e-invoices in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 and Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP;
- In order to continue promoting the propaganda of e-invoices for businesses and taxpayers:
Towards the goal that by July 1, 2022, 100% of businesses and taxpayers in Ho Chi Minh City will use e-invoices according to the provisions of Decree No. 123/2020 /ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government, the Tax Department of Ho Chi Minh City requested the Department of Information and Communications to coordinate with the Department of Taxation in orienting the central press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City Department of Taxation and propaganda on e-invoices will be applied uniformly across the country from July 1, 2022 with the rate of 100% of businesses and taxpayers making e-invoices according to regulations at Law on Tax Administration 38/2019/QH14 (promoting propaganda in electronic form via electronic newspapers).

How to provide electronic invoice information according to Vietnamese regulations?
According to Section 4 of Notice 8625/TB-CTTPHCM in 2022, guiding the registration, use and provision of e-invoice information in some cases:
- Implement Official Dispatch No. 1103/TCT-QLRR dated April 13, 2022 of the General Department of Taxation "Rev: Providing information on electronic invoices", Dispatch No. 1727/TCT-QLRR dated May 23, 2022 of the General Department of Taxation "Rev/v: Guidelines for the Regulation on the form of electronic invoice information exchange", Tax Department of Ho Chi Minh City informed the relevant state management agencies of a number of basic content about providing information on electronic invoices and requested the relevant authorities:
- During the time when there is no lookup account on the electronic invoice system of the General Department of Taxation, the Tax Department of Ho Chi Minh City requested the authorities (City Market Management Department, City Police, Land use right registration office at all levels, Insurance....) to support and create favorable conditions for people, and businesses in the area when performing administrative procedures such as registering property ownership, cars, motorbikes, other vehicles, paying hospital fees from insurance agencies or looking up information on electricity bills. electronic invoices of goods circulating on the market, etc., do a search on the QR Code application for invoices with QR Code codes or use paper invoices converted from electronic invoices as prescribed in Article 7 of the Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP.
In case the competent authorities request Form No. 01/CCTT-DK Appendix II specified in Article 49 of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP, as soon as the General Department of Taxation agrees with the Regulation sample on providing information on e-invoices between tax authorities (Tax Department/Department of Taxation) and external authorities/organizations, the City Tax Department will issue a Regulation on the provision of information between the Tax Department/Tax Branch and relevant authorities in Ho Chi Minh City.
