In addition to ensuring the criteria for educational content, teaching materials in Literature subject need to meet the following requirements:
- Ensure a reasonable ratio between literary texts, argumentative texts and informational texts. In literary texts, attention should be paid to ensuring the relative balance between basic genres (story, poetry, memoir, drama), between medieval literature and modern literature, between folklore and folklore. writing, between Kinh and ethnic minority literature, between Vietnamese and foreign literature, between East and West.
- "Balance" is understood as an appropriate ratio, not an equal ratio. Materials for all grades must include story and poetic texts. In addition to stories and poems, each grade must have a signed text or drama.
