What are the duties and rights of grade 1 students upon admission?
Pursuant to Article 34 of Circular 28/2020/TT-BGDDT of Vietnam stipulating the duties of primary school students as follows:
- Study and practice according to the educational plan and rules of the school; have a sense of self-discipline to study and practice to comprehensively develop qualities and capacities according to the objectives of the primary school general education program.
- Fully and effectively perform learning tasks; know how to self-study under the guidance of teachers; actively and actively participate in experiential activities, applying learned knowledge to real life; Exercise and maintain personal hygiene.
- Filial piety to parents, grandparents; respect and be polite to teachers, teachers and elders; unite, love and help friends, children, the elderly, the disabled and people in difficult circumstances.

- Be educated

+ Students with disabilities have an inclusive education in a primary school; conditions for learning and training are guaranteed; are learned and assessed according to the individual education plan of the student.
+ Students can learn to shorten the program implementation time, study at an older age than the prescribed age, study for a longer time, and stay in school.
+ Students with good physical strength and early intellectual development may be able to surpass the grade within the school level. The review procedure for each specific case is carried out according to the following steps:
The student's parent or guardian has an application form with the school.
The school principal shall establish a survey and advisory council, including: the principal or vice principal and the school's representative board of parents; teacher of the class the students are studying, teacher of the upper class, medical staff, general in charge of the Team.
Based on the survey results of the advisory council, the principal completes the application and reports it to the head of the Education and Training Department for consideration and decision.
- Students with limited academic results, who have been directly guided by teachers, parents or guardians, but still have not completed, depending on the degree of incompleteness of the learning and training tasks, the teacher reports to the principal for consideration of the decision to promote or remain in class, and together with the family to decide on appropriate educational measures.
- To be protected, cared for, respected and treated equally and democratically; be guaranteed legitimate rights and interests; be provided with sufficient information about their own learning and training process; are guaranteed conditions of time, facilities, hygiene and safety to study and practice.
- To participate in activities promoting the individual's ability; express opinions and aspirations of individuals.
- Receive scholarships and enjoy social policies as prescribed.
- To enjoy other rights as prescribed by law.
