Previously, when Party members violated political views and internal politics, they would be disciplined according to Article 7 of Regulation 102/QD-TW of 2017 of the Central Committee:
“Article 7. Violations against internal political and political views
1- Vietnamese Communist Party members who violate one of the following circumstances, causing less serious consequences, shall be disciplined in the form of reprimand:
a) Being instigated, enticed or bribed by other people to have the act of speaking, writing, storing, disseminating, publishing, providing information, documents and artifacts with contents contrary to the guidelines and views. of the Vietnamese Communist Party and laws of the State.

d) Being dishonest in declaring their personal history and background and supplementing the background of party members.
2- In case a person who has been disciplined as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article repeats the offense or commits it for the first time, causing serious consequences or commits one of the following cases, the discipline shall be in the form of a warning or a position (if there is a position):
a) Being instigated, seduced or misperceived to speak, write, violate or fail to implement the Political Platform, the Vietnamese Communist Party Charter, resolutions, directives, decisions, regulations, regulations, results the Vietnamese Communist Party's thesis, the State's laws; do things that are not allowed by law.

Accordingly, disciplinary forms for Vietnamese Communist Party members who violate political views and internal politics in the past are applied according to the above provisions.

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 25 of Regulation 69/QD-TW of 2022 of the Central Committee, providing for the application of warning discipline when Vietnamese Communist Party members violate internal political and political views:
“Article 25. Violation of political views and internal politics
1. Vietnamese Communist Party members who violate one of the following circumstances, causing less serious consequences, shall be disciplined in the form of reprimand:
a) Being instigated, enticed or bribed by other people to have the act of speaking, writing, storing or distributing, publishing, providing information, documents or objects with contents contrary to the guidelines and regulations of the Government. Party and laws of the State. Do what the law does not allow.

Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 25 of Regulation 69/QD-TW of 2022 of the Central Committee, providing for cases of application of disciplinary warning or dismissal to Vietnamese Communist Party members who violate political views and internal politics:
“Article 25. Violation of political views and internal politics

2. If a person who has been disciplined under Clause 1 of this Article re-commits or commits the first violation, causing serious consequences, or commits one of the following violations, the discipline shall be in the form of warning or dismissal (if there is a member of the Board of Directors):
…
c) Being lured, enticed or forced to join political parties or organizations operating illegally without timely reporting to the management committee or competent authority.”
Accordingly, at present, if Vietnamese Communist Party members are lured or lured to join illegal activities and promptly report them to the management committee or competent authority, they will not be disciplined in the form of warning or dismiss.
This is a new point of Regulation 69/QD-TW in 2022, because according to the previous regulations, Vietnamese Communist Party members only need to be lured and manipulated to join illegal activities, of course, they will be disciplined. by warning or dismissal.
Expulsion from the Vietnamese Communist Party for Party members who work as collaborators for hostile forces?
Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 25 of Regulation 69/QD-TW of 2022 of the Central Committee, stipulates cases of application of the disciplinary form of expulsion from the Party for violations of political views and internal values are:
“Article 25. Violation of political views and internal politics
…
3. In case of violations specified in Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article causing very serious consequences or in one of the following cases, the discipline shall be in the form of expulsion:
a) Speak and write, distorting history, independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, distorting the truth, denying the leadership role and revolutionary achievements of the Vietnamese Communist Party and the nation.

e) Participating in activities in reactionary political parties and organizations. Working or collaborating with hostile forces, terrorist organizations

According to the above regulations, at present, Vietnamese Communist Party members who work as collaborators for hostile forces and terrorist organizations will be disciplined in the form of expulsion from the Vietnamese Communist Party. This is a new regulation on applying disciplinary measures to Vietnamese Communist Party members who violate political views and internal politics compared to the past.
