- Leadership and management:
+ Participate in managing and operating one or several areas or tasks of the university as assigned by the university director (managing and operating some areas of work of the university; handling urgent tasks within the assigned scope; inspecting and evaluating the implementation of the university's work; evaluating the performance of officials and employees according to their authority; managing the university when authorized by the director or assigned by the competent authority).
>> Evaluation criteria for completion: Grasp the general activities of the university; fully understand the information regarding the assigned areas of work; handle assigned tasks promptly, accurately, and effectively; complete the assigned tasks and responsibilities as authorized.
+ Participate in councils and steering committees (according to specific assignments):

+ Develop and organize the implementation of annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly work plans for the assigned department:

- They sign documents within the scope of the assigned areas or tasks, or as authorized by the university director.
- They decide on the assignment of tasks for officials and employees within the university according to their authority.
- They are provided with guidance and management information within the scope of their duties and authority.
- They participate in meetings related to the assigned areas or tasks.
What are the requirements for qualifications and capabilities of the university deputy directors in Vietnam?

- Educational qualifications:
+ Hold a doctoral degree, meeting the professional title and position standards for University deputy directors as prescribed by laws, authorized levels, and the organizational and operational regulations of the university.
+ Have a level of political theory that meets the conditions and standards of University deputy directors as prescribed by the Party, laws, and authorized levels.
- Training and certificates:
+ Meet the conditions for University deputy directors as prescribed by laws and authorized levels.
+ Receive professional title training as prescribed by specialized laws.
- Experience (work achievements): Have management experience from the university/institute level and above.
