Pursuant to Decision 372/QD-BTC dated March 17, 2023, by the Minister of Finance approving the Recruitment Plan for officials for the crew force and detection dog trainers of the General Department of Customs in 2023, the General Department of Customs announces specific recruitment as follows:

On April 13, 2023, the General Department of Customs issued a Notification on the recruitment of officials for the crew force and detection dog trainers of the General Department of Customs in 2023.

The total number of positions to be filled according to this Plan is 122 positions:

- Crew force (maritime vessels): 65 positions;

- Crew force (inland waterway vessels): 32 positions;

- Detection dog trainers: 25 positions.

To be specific, the recruitment needs per Job Position corresponding to different official ranks are as follows:

Rank of Intermediate Customs Inspector (08.052) recruiting 50 positions, of which:

- Crew force (maritime vessels) includes 23 positions, specifically:

+ Second-Class Master: 01 position;

+ Third-Class Master: 11 positions;

+ Third-Class First Officer: 05 positions;

+ Fourth-Class First Officer: 06 positions.

- Crew force (inland waterway vessels) includes 27 positions, specifically

+ Second-Class Master: 04 positions;

+ Third-Class Master: 06 positions;

+ Fourth-Class Master: 13 positions;

+ Third-Class First Officer: 04 positions.

Rank of Customs Officer (08.053) recruiting 72 positions, of which:

- Crew force (maritime vessels) with 42 positions, specifically:

+ First-Class Chief Engineer: 04 positions;

+ Second-Class Chief Engineer: 09 positions;

+ Third-Class Chief Engineer: 01 position;

+ Second-Class Engineer: 02 positions;

+ Third-Class Engineer: 04 positions;

+ Mechanic: 10 positions;

+ Sailor: 12 positions.

- Crew force (inland waterway vessels) with 05 positions, specifically:

+ Mechanic: 03 positions;

What documents are required for the Customs official recruitment application in 2023?

According to the Notification on the recruitment of officials for the crew force and detection dog trainers of the General Department of Customs in 2023, the documents for the Customs official recruitment application in 2023 include:

Applicants must submit their application directly (or by postal service) at the headquarters of the General Department of Customs - No. 9 Duong Dinh Nghe Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi; or submit the application directly at the headquarters of the Customs Department where the candidates register to apply.

Each application must include the following components:

- Registration form according to the template.

In the registration form, applicants must fill in according to the instructions in the form, it can be handwritten or typed but must be signed on each page of the registration form; and must commit that the information provided in the form is true. If any false information is found, the recruitment result will be canceled and the applicant will be held responsible before the law.

- Photocopies (no certification, notarization, or authenticated copies required) include:

+ Graduation diploma, transcript (Doctorate, Master, Bachelor, College, Vocational School);

+ Professional certificates as required for the job position applied for.

For diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions, when submitting the application, the candidate needs to submit a photocopy of the diploma and transcript (all accompanied by a notarized translation copy into Vietnamese) and a photocopy of the equivalent degree recognition issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training as stipulated in the National Qualification Framework of Vietnam. If the degree is exempt from the recognition procedure as per Article 5 of Circular 13/2021/TT-BGDDT, the candidate must submit documents proving that the degree is exempt from the recognition procedure according to regulations.

- For applicants who are in the priority categories for recruitment, they must submit additional documents as specified in this Notification (priority categories in recruitment of officials).

Note:

- Applicants are not required to submit documents such as Health Certificate, Curriculum Vitae, Birth Certificate (except as instructed in Section 2, Part I of this Notification) and are not required to submit language or IT certificates when registering.

- All documents mentioned above must be issued by the competent authority before the deadline for submission of the registration form. If the issuance date is after the deadline, the application will not be valid.
