- Standards of training and fostering qualifications of class 1 film editing technicians:
+ Having a university degree or higher majoring in television program production techniques, television technology, communication technology, multimedia communication.
+ If you have graduated from a university in another discipline, you must have a certificate of training in editing skills or a diploma of secondary school or college majoring in television program production techniques, television technology, or communication technology. , multimedia communications.
+ Having a certificate of training according to the standards of professional titles of public servants specialized in film editing techniques.
- Standards of professional competence of class 1 film editing technicians:
+ Firmly grasp the guidelines, guidelines and policies of the Party and the State's laws on specialized fields;
+ Proficient in specialized skills, effectively performing tasks in accordance with the Law on Press and other relevant laws;
+ Having chaired or participated in at least 04 (four) works recognized or won prizes by the specialized arts and sciences councils; or participate in at least 02 (two) theoretical works, theoretical research on specialized science and technology (ministerial, provincial or equivalent level);

- Standards of training and fostering qualifications of class 2 film editing technicians:
+ Having a university degree or higher majoring in television program production techniques, television technology, communication technology, multimedia communication.
+ If you graduate from a university in another discipline, you must have a certificate of training in film editing or a diploma of secondary school or college majoring in television program production techniques, television technology or electronic engineering technology, communication;
+ Having a certificate of training according to the standards of professional titles of public servants specialized in film editing techniques.

- Standards of training and fostering qualifications of class 3 film editing technicians:
+ Having a university degree or higher majoring in television program production techniques, television technology, communication technology, multimedia communication.
+ Having graduated from a university in another discipline, you must have a certificate of training in film editing or a diploma of intermediate or college degrees in film editing, television program production techniques, television technology, and electronic engineering technology, communication;
+ Having a certificate of training according to the standards of professional titles of public servants specialized in film editing techniques.
