Time limit for vehicle registration processing

1. Issuance of vehicle registration certificate: No more than 02 working days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid dossier, except for the reissuance of vehicle registration certificates that require verification according to the provisions of Clause 2 of this Article.

2. The verification period for the loss of vehicle registration certificate when processing the procedures for reissuing the vehicle registration certificate is 30 days; the verification period is not included in the processing period for reissuing the vehicle registration certificate as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.

3. Initial issuance of identification plate: Immediately upon receipt of a valid vehicle registration dossier.

4. Issuance of replacement number plates, reissuance of number plates, issuance of auctioned number plates, reissuance of identification plates: No more than 07 working days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid dossier.

b) After checking the vehicle dossier to ensure its validity, the vehicle registration authority sends a notice to the vehicle owner to pay the vehicle registration fee, public postal service fee on the public service portal to return the vehicle registration results according to regulations;

c) The vehicle owner receives the vehicle registration certificate or number plate according to regulations from the public postal service.
