The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City has opened its early admission registration portal from March 19, 2024, for the following admissions methods:
- Method 2: Admission for candidates who have graduated from foreign high school programs and hold international certificates.
- Method 3: Admission for Excellent Students.
- Method 4: Admission based on academic performance in specific subject combinations.
- Method 5: Admission based on the results of the first round of the competency assessment exam organized by the National University of Ho Chi Minh City in 2024.

+ Candidates arrange options from highest to lowest (option 1 being the highest)
+ Candidates apply for admission to the Vietnamese program in Ho Chi Minh City. After being admitted, depending on the program, candidates can apply for the Partial English program or Full English program at the time of enrollment.
+ Candidates apply for the Mekong International Bachelor's program in the group of candidates applying for the Vietnamese program in Vinh Long Province.
+ Admission fee: 30,000 VND per method per program.
+ International English language proficiency certificates are used for conversion score in Method 3, Method 4:
++ IELTS Academic score of 6.0 or higher, or TOEFL iBT score of 73 or higher.
++ Certificates are valid (taken from March 19, 2022, until the application submission date).
++ Award criteria (First, Second, Third) in the provincial and municipal (central-level) Excellent High School Students selection exams are used for conversion score in Method 3, Method 4:
++ Subjects with awards: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Literature, Computer Science.
++ Candidates choose the highest award achieved in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades for application.
++ This criterion does not apply to awards in provincial and municipal (central-level) Olympic exams, Casio Calculator Mathematics Excellent Student Competition, provincial/municipal (central-level) Science and Technology Competition.
++ Students from specialized/talented high schools are used for conversion score in Method 3, Method 4.
- Candidates registering for Method 3, Method 4, Method 5 admissions should follow the following steps:
Step 1: Prepare and convert the documents into corresponding image files
- Download the "High School Academic Transcript Confirmation Form" template provided by UEH Here:
+ Fill in the information clearly and accurately (no erasures),
+ Sign and clearly write the candidate's full name,
+ Have the confirmation signature of the Principal (or Vice Principal),
+ Have the official stamp of the candidate's high school for 12th grade.
Notes:
+ Candidates registering for Method 5 only do not need to download the template.
+ Candidates who have graduated from high school before 2024 do not need confirmation and stamp from the high school. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the provided information.
- Prepare the following types of documents:
+ High School Academic Transcript Confirmation Form (according to the template)
+ Certificates or awards (First, Second, Third) from the provincial or city-level Excellent High School Student Competition in subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Literature, Computer Science (if available)
+ International English language certificates: IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT (if available)
+ Priority documents for special consideration or regional priority based on permanent residence (if available)
+ Personal Identification Number Notification or Front side of the Citizen Identification Card.
Note: Candidates registering for Method 5 only do not need to prepare documents 1, 2, 3.
- Convert to image files:
+ Take a clear photo (or scan) of the original documents (not from photocopies or duplicates).
+ The images should be clear, legible, and contain complete information.
+ Each document (1, 2, 3, 5) corresponds to 01 image file.
+ For document 4, compress the images into a .rar or .zip file.
+ Image file format: png or jpg.
+ Maximum image file size: 10 Mb.
Step 2: Access the Admission Registration Portal at http://xettuyenk50.ueh.edu.vn and complete the online application:
- Candidates should use the Personal Identification Number Notification or Citizen Identification Card for registration. If the Personal Identification Number Notification or Citizen Identification Card is entered incorrectly, the application will be considered invalid.
- Complete the online application
+ Fill in personal information, email, and contact phone number accurately and completely.
+ Choose the admission method and options.
+ Attach the corresponding image files of the supporting documents according to the specified fields.
+ Click "Save Registration" to create the application and save the information.
+ Candidates can log in and edit the application after clicking "Save Registration".
- Receive account information via email
+ After clicking "Save Registration", the system will automatically generate a login account for the admission application and send it to the registered email address (within 30 minutes).
+ Check the Inbox or Spam folder of the email.
+ Use and manage this account for the next steps in the admission process.
Step 3: Complete the application
- Use the account provided by UEH to complete the admissions application for Method 3, Method 4, Method 5.
- When selecting "Complete the admissions application", candidates commit to providing accurate and unadjusted information.
- The system will automatically send an email (within 30 minutes) to confirm the information: Application ID, admission method, and options chosen.
- The application is considered valid when "Complete the admissions application" is selected before 4:00 PM on May 10, 2024.
Note: The "Application ID" has the structure: KSA24xxxxx or ISB24xxxxx or KSV24xxxxx or ASA24xxxxx corresponding to the program the candidate is applying for.
Step 4: Pay the admission fee
After "Completing the admissions application", proceed to pay the admission fee:
- Method 1: On the admissions application page, select "Pay online through the Payment Gateway (Click to proceed to the payment page)"
+ Candidates enter the Application ID (received via email in Step 3) in the "Transaction ID/ID number" field and click "Search" to display the information. Then, follow the instructions to complete the payment process.
+ Candidates can pay the admission fee using various payment methods (international cards such as Visa, MasterCard, JBC..., QR code scanning, domestic cards (ATM cards), or Internet Banking).
