On March 28, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision 775/QD-BVHTTDL announcing the amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of Sports under the management function of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Pursuant to Section 24, Part II of Decision 775/QD-BVHTTDL in 2024, the requirements and conditions for organizations applying for Certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for the sport of Tennis are as follows:

(1) Infrastructure and training equipment:

- The playing field must be flat, non-slip, with a slope for water drainage, and covered with paint, grass, compacted soil, or synthetic material.

- The dimensions of a singles court should be 23.77m in length and 8.23m in width. The dimensions of a doubles court should be 23.77m in length and 10.97m in width.

- The net surrounding the court should ensure a distance of at least 4m from the sidelines to the net horizontally and at least 3m from the baselines to the net vertically.

- The lighting on the court must be at least 150 lux.

- First aid kits must be available according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health. There should be sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and storage areas for personal belongings.

- A set of rules should be displayed, including the following main contents: training hours, participants, and safety measures during training.

(2) Competition infrastructure and equipment:

- The requirements mentioned above should also be applied to the competition infrastructure and equipment, including the playing field, singles and doubles courts, net surrounding the court, lighting on the court, and first aid kits.

- There should be referee chairs, scoreboards, and water carts.

- In case of a covered court, the distance from the court surface to the lowest point of the roof should be at least 9m.

(3) Training density: Each trainer should not train more than 12 people in one training session.

(4) Professional staff: There should be a team of qualified professional officers and staff suitable for the activities.

Therefore, organizations applying for Certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for the sport of Tennis must follow the administrative procedures in the specified order and manner to be considered and granted the Certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business.

- The enterprise submits the application via mail, electronic means, or directly to the specialized sports agency under the People's Committee at the provincial level where the sports business activities are registered or where the enterprise's main headquarters is located in the case of multiple sports business locations.

- The specialized sports agency under the People's Committee at the provincial level (referred to as the Certificate issuing agency) issues an acknowledgment receipt to the enterprise.

- In case the application needs to be amended or supplemented, the Certificate issuing agency notifies the enterprise directly or in writing about the required changes or additions within a period of 03 working days from the date of receiving the application.

Therefore, organizations applying for Certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business in Tennis need to follow the above administrative procedures to be considered for the issuance of Certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business.
