In Section 1 of Table 6 issued together with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP, the salary coefficients for officers of the People's Public Security are stipulated.

How will the salary and allowances for police officers change from July 01, 2024?

From July 01, 2024, police officers will have a separate salary table constructed according to position, title, and military rank or grade.

When implementing the salary reform from July 01, 2024, the salary for police officers will be designed according to the following formula:

b) Officials and public employees, or graduates from higher education institutions, vocational education institutions selected for the People's Public Security, based on their training level, work process, assigned tasks, and salary level to arrange the corresponding rank;
