Procedures for reissuing the motor vehicle inspector certificate in case of loss or damage?
According to the procedures issued in Decision 701/QD-BGTVT in 2023, it is stipulated as follows:
Reissuance of motor vehicle inspector certificate in case of loss or damage
3.1. Sequential steps:
a) Submission of administrative procedure documents:- The inspector sends a request to reissue the motor vehicle inspector certificate to the Vietnam Register.
b) Resolution of the administrative procedure:- The Vietnam Register, based on the filed documents, will reissue the motor vehicle inspector certificate within 05 working days from the date of receiving the request, indicating that the reissued certificate replaces and cancels the validity of the lost or damaged certificate. The reissued certificate will have a validity period not exceeding that of the old certificate.
3.2. Method of implementation:- The receipt of documents and the delivery of results can be done directly at the Vietnam Register office, via postal system, or online.
3.3. Components and number of documents:
a) Document components:- Request for reissuance of the motor vehicle inspector certificate;
b) Number of documents: 01 set.
3.4. Time for resolving the procedure:- 05 working days from the date of receipt of the request.
To obtain the reissuance of a motor vehicle inspector certificate in the event of loss or damage, the inspector must send a request to the Vietnam Register.
The Vietnam Register will reissue the motor vehicle inspector certificate within 05 working days from the date of receiving the request, indicating that the reissued certificate replaces and cancels the validity of the lost or damaged certificate. What are the steps in the process of reissuing the motor vehicle inspector certificate in case of expiry?
Based on the regulations of sub-section 2 Part A Section II of the administrative procedures issued in Decision 701/QD-BGTVT in 2023, the steps for reissuing the motor vehicle inspector certificate in case of expiry are as follows:
- The inspector must submit a request to reissue the motor vehicle inspector certificate to the Vietnam Register at least 30 days before the certificate expires.- The inspection agency and the inspector submit the request for reissuance (along with a 4 cm x 6 cm color photo, passport-style, taken within the last 6 months) to the Vietnam Register.- Within 05 working days from the receipt of the request, the Vietnam Register will notify the plan, time, and place for evaluating the inspector's professional skills at the inspection agency.- Within 03 working days from the date of evaluation, if the requirements are met, a motor vehicle inspector certificate will be issued. If not, the reasons for not meeting the requirements will be clearly stated in the evaluation report.- The Vietnam Register will reissue the motor vehicle inspector certificate within 05 working days from the date of receiving the request, indicating that the reissued certificate replaces and cancels the validity of the lost or damaged certificate. The reissued certificate will have a validity period not exceeding that of the old certificate.- The inspection agency and inspector have the right to request the Vietnam Register to re-evaluate after 01 month from the date of an unsuccessful evaluation.
