Where do candidates who have graduated from high school or intermediate level submit their personal information registration form?
According to the regulations in Clause 1, Article 13 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT (amended by Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 06/2023/TT-BGDDT), it is stipulated as follows:
Exam registration
1. Exam registration location:
a) Subjects as specified in point a, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations register online or directly at the high school where they attended 12th grade.
b) Subjects as specified in points b, c, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations register at a location (referred to as the registration place) as prescribed by the Department of Education and Training. The head of the unit at the registration location is responsible for performing the tasks as prescribed in Article 60 of these Regulations.
Free candidates submit their registration documents directly at the location specified by the Department of Education and Training.
For convenience, free candidates can submit their documents at continuing education centers or the district/ward education offices where they reside. Candidates retaking the National High School Exam in 2023 do not need to return to their place of permanent residence for the exam but can take it at their temporary residence if they have registered for temporary residence.
Additionally, according to Article 60 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated as follows:
Responsibilities of high schools
1. Complete the teaching program as directed by the Department of Education and Training; organize review sessions for students; guide students to obtain Citizen Identification Cards no later than the end of the first semester of the 12th grade; organize cultural knowledge assessments, academic ratings for self-study individuals when assigned by the Department of Education and Training.
2. Receive exam registration forms and re-evaluation requests; verify the documents of learners who register at the school; complete the registration data and transfer the data to the Department of Education and Training; print, seal, and deliver exam notifications to candidates; manage candidates' registration documents as prescribed.
3. Organize study sessions for officials and public employees, teachers, and candidates on the exam regulations; provide necessary facilities and safety measures if selected as an exam venue or re-evaluation location.
4. Receive applications, compile a list of candidates requesting re-evaluation, and transfer it to the Department of Education and Training; deliver exam result certificates to candidates who submitted registration forms at the school.
5. Issue temporary graduation certificates and certificates of completion of the general education program.
6. Archive exam records as prescribed.
7. Compare average scores of the exam papers, subject component test scores with the average scores of corresponding subjects in the 12th-grade school year of the school's students to serve as a basis for improving teaching and learning activities in the school.
The head of the registration unit is responsible for assigning tasks related to the above duties in the national high school graduation exam work.
What should candidates who have graduated from high school or intermediate level but have not registered their personal information do?
According to the provisions in Official Dispatch 1919/BGDDT-GDDH in 2023, it is clearly stated as follows:
6. Candidates who have graduated from high school or intermediate level (free candidates) but have not registered their personal information on the System must register to receive an account for aspiration registration from June 15 to July 20, 2023. Candidates:
- Download the personal information registration form (Annex V) and fill in the information on the form.
- Submit the form at the receiving point (as prescribed and guided by the Department of Education and Training where the candidate resides) to receive account information and a password for the admission process.
For candidates who have graduated from high school or intermediate level (free candidates) but have not registered their personal information on the System, they must register to receive an account for aspiration registration from June 15 to July 20, 2023.
To receive an account for aspiration registration, candidates must prepare a personal information registration form and fill in the information on the form.
Then, submit the form at the receiving point to receive account information and a password for the admission process.
