What does the application dossier for public employee recruitment at the Judicial Academy include?
According to Section 7 of Announcement 489/TB-HVTP of 2023, candidates wishing to register for the recruitment must submit an application form according to the template issued with Decree 115/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020, of the Government of Vietnam, which provides for the recruitment, use, and management of public employees (the registration form is posted on the Judicial Academy's electronic portal) and the following documents:
- Autobiographical Resume with certification from a competent authority within 6 months prior to the application submission date;- Copies of diplomas, certificates, and academic transcripts as required for the applied position, certified by competent authorities. In the case of diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions, they must be notarized in Vietnamese and accredited by the Quality Assurance Department - Ministry of Education and Training;- Valid health certificate issued by a qualified medical authority as per Circular 14/2013/TT-BYT dated May 6, 2013, of the Ministry of Health, guiding health check-ups;- Certificate of eligibility for priority in public employee recruitment (if any), certified by a competent authority;- Two 3x4cm color photos (taken within 6 months from the registration date), two envelopes with stamps, and clearly marked notification address.
Note: Each candidate is only allowed to submit an application for one position, and the Judicial Academy will not return submitted documents.
How much is the recruitment fee for candidates applying for public employee positions at the Judicial Academy?
According to Announcement 489/TB-HVTP of 2023, the recruitment fee is as follows:
The recruitment fee is implemented according to Circular 92/2021/TT-BTC dated October 28, 2021, of the Ministry of Finance, regulating the collection, payment, management, and use policies for recruitment, rank promotion exams, and promotion of officials and public employees. The fee for each candidate is 500,000 VND.
What are the eligibility criteria for public employee recruitment at the Judicial Academy?
According to Section 3 of Announcement 489/TB-HVTP of 2023, the eligibility criteria for public employee recruitment at the Judicial Academy are as follows:
(1) General Conditions:
Individuals having the following conditions, regardless of ethnicity, gender, social status, creed, or religion, are eligible to register for public employee recruitment:
- Holding Vietnamese nationality and residing in Vietnam;- At least 18 years of age;- Having an application for recruitment;- Clear personal history;- Good political and ethical character;- Diplomas and certificates matching the job requirements;- Health status sufficient to perform the job duties as required;- Meeting other conditions required for the job position;- Not falling into any of the following categories:+ Lacking civil act capacity or having limited civil act capacity;+ Being subject to criminal prosecution; serving sentences or criminal decisions by the court; subject to administrative measures for compulsory rehabilitation, compulsory education, or reform school.
(2) Specific Conditions for Each Recruitment Position
In addition to the general conditions, specific positions have distinct requirements as follows:
- For Lecturer Positions:+ Holding a master's degree or higher in law and a bachelor's degree in law.+ Specifically, for the lecturer position at the International Commercial Law Training Center, candidates must have a master's degree in law or higher and a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: economic law, business law, international commercial law, international law, high-quality law, high-quality economic law, or a joint degree program with the University of Arizona.
- For Expert Positions:+ Assessment and quality control experts, admission and training experts: Holding a bachelor's degree or higher in law, education, or educational management.+ Expert in staff training: Holding a bachelor's degree or higher in law, educational management, administration, pedagogy, or economics.
- For IT Engineer Positions:+ Holding a bachelor's degree or higher in information technology or information security.
- For Accountant Positions:+ Holding a bachelor's degree or higher in finance or accounting and not falling into the categories prohibited from practicing accounting as per the Accounting Law.
- For Librarian Positions:+ Holding a bachelor's degree or higher in library science. Alternatively, holding a bachelor's degree or higher in another field and obtaining a professional certificate in information - library skills issued by a competent authority.
(3) Language Proficiency Conditions:
- For Lecturers at the International Commercial Law Training Center:+ Proficiency in English equivalent to level 4 (B2) or higher according to the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework stipulated in Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT dated January 24, 2014, by the Ministry of Education and Training.
- For Other Lecturer Positions, Experts, Accountants, Librarians, IT Engineers:+ Proficiency in English equivalent to level 2 or higher according to the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework stipulated in Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT dated January 24, 2014, by the Ministry of Education and Training.
(4) IT Proficiency Conditions:
- Proficiency in basic information technology skills according to Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT dated March 11, 2014, of the Minister of Information and Communications, prescribing the Standard Information Technology Use Skills.
