- Department of Legal Affairs.- Department of Personnel and Organization.- Department of International Cooperation.- Department of Planning and Synthesis.- Office.- Department of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Economic Sector (Department I).- Department of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Political, Internal Affairs, and General Economic Sector (Department II).- Department of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Cultural and Social Sector (Department III).- Directorate of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations Region 1 (Directorate I).- Directorate of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations Region 2 (Directorate II).- Directorate of Inspection and Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations Region 3 (Directorate III).- Anti-Corruption Directorate (Directorate IV).- Directorate of Supervision, Evaluation, and Post-Inspection Handling (Directorate V).- Central Citizen Reception Committee.- Institute of Strategy and Inspectorate Science.- Inspectorate Newspaper.- Inspectorate Journal.- Inspectorate Training School.- Information Center.

The units stipulated from clauses 1 to 14 of Article 3 of Decree 81/2023/ND-CP are administrative organizations, assisting the Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam in performing state management functions.

Decree 81/2023/ND-CP on the tasks and powers of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam regarding anti-corruption and negativity from December 1, 2023

According to clause 7 of Article 2 of Decree 81/2023/ND-CP, the tasks and powers of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam regarding anti-corruption and negativity from December 1, 2023, are stipulated as follows:

- Organize, direct, and guide the implementation of legal regulations on anti-corruption and negativity as per authority or directed by the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, and anti-corruption, negativity in inspection activities.- Inspect cases with signs of corruption as per authority; inspect the implementation of laws on anti-corruption and negativity at ministries, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, provincial People's Committees, enterprises, and social organizations in the non-state sector as per authority or as directed by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.- Proactively cooperate with agencies and organizations in detecting acts of corruption and negativity; inspect cases with signs of corruption and negativity as per authority or as directed by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam; urge the handling of individuals with corrupt or negative behavior as stipulated by law and under the personnel management decentralization of the Communist Party and the Government of Vietnam.- Control assets and incomes of individuals with positions and authority in agencies, organizations, and units as per authority.- Build, manage, exploit, and protect the national database on asset and income control; monitor and evaluate the situation of corruption, negativity, and anti-corruption work in ministries, central authorities, local authorities, and the non-state sector.- Coordinate with the State Audit, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense, Supreme People's Procuracy, Supreme People's Court, and Central Internal Affairs Committee in providing, exchanging information, documents, and experiences regarding anti-corruption and negativity work; summarize, evaluate, forecast the situation of corruption, negativity, and propose policies and solutions for anti-corruption and negativity.

What acts are prohibited in inspection activities?

Based on Article 8 of the Law on Inspection 2022, the acts prohibited in inspection activities are stipulated as follows:

- Abusing inspection authority to perform unlawful acts, harassment, causing difficulties, and inconvenience for the inspection subjects and other agencies, organizations, and individuals; exceeding power during the inspection process.- Inspecting without authority, not following the inspection decision content, and the approved inspection plan.- Intentional omission of issuing an inspection decision when detecting signs of legal violations that require inspection as per law; covering up for the inspection subjects; intentionally making false conclusions; illegal conclusions, decisions, and handling; failing to propose the prosecution and transfer case files with signs of crime detected through inspection to the investigative agency for consideration and decision on initiating criminal cases as per law.- Offering or accepting bribes, and acting as an intermediary for bribery in inspection activities.- Disclosing information and documents related to the inspection when the inspection conclusion has not been publicly announced.- Illegally intervening in inspection activities; manipulating inspection results, conclusions, and recommendations.- Failing to provide information and documents promptly, fully, truthfully, and accurately; appropriating, destroying documents, and evidences related to the inspection content.- Resisting, obstructing, bribing, threatening, retaliating against, and oppressing the inspection officers, supervisors, evaluators, and individuals providing information and documents to the inspection agency; causing difficulties for inspection activities.- Other prohibited acts as stipulated by law.
