Effectively implement the evaluation and regular professional development for teachers and management personnel according to professional and principal standards.

(5) Continue to carry out inspection, supervision, and monitoring in accordance with authority;
Efficiently use textbooks, learning resources, and teaching equipment according to practical conditions;

Guiding the Organization of Teaching Subjects of Foreign Language 1 and Informatics Following the Primary Education Program: How?
In Sub-item 3, Item 1, Part B Official Dispatch 3898/BGDDT-GDTH in 2024 provides guidance on organizing the teaching of subjects Foreign Language 1 and Informatics according to the primary education program as follows:
(1) Organizing the Teaching of Foreign Language 1 Subjects
- For grades 1 and 2: continue implementing the optional English language program ensuring the requirements stipulated in the primary education program. For other foreign languages besides English, including German, Korean, Russian, Japanese, French, and Chinese, which have been issued programs by the Ministry of Education and Training, based on the conditions of educational institutions and demands of students and parents, the institution may proactively implement optional teaching in grades 1 and 2 and choose teaching materials according to the Ministry of Education and Training regulations.
When implementing optional Foreign Language 1 teaching in grades 1 and 2, attention should be paid to ensuring continuity with the compulsory foreign language subject starting from grade 3;
The teaching duration should be appropriate for initial familiarization, avoiding overloading students;
Evaluation should focus on continuous assessment to support learning, without using assessment results for grade progression;
Optional learning of Foreign Language 1 in grades 1 and 2 must be included in the school's educational plan as prescribed.
- For grades 3, 4, and 5: implement solutions to organize compulsory teaching of Foreign Language 1;
Choose from the approved Foreign Language 1 subjects that are suitable for the organizational capacity of educational institutions, the demands of students and parents, ensuring continuity and following the requirements stated in the foreign language program and relevant Ministry directives.
Deploy the use of the Elementary Level English Learning Material System on computer and online platforms according to Plan 160/KH-BGDDT ensuring quality, practicality, and alignment with local conditions and capabilities.
Encourage educational institutions to voluntarily participate in private investment to increase learning hours; teach foreign languages through Math and Science topics;
Teach certain subjects in foreign languages.
Enhance the organization for teachers and students to learn foreign languages through television, media, and various appropriate learning resources.
Promote language practice through activities like story reading, experiential activities, creating an outside-classroom foreign language environment, and organizing playgrounds and exchanges for students as directed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
(2) Organizing the Teaching of Informatics
Organize compulsory Informatics teaching for all students in grades 3, 4, and 5 according to the requirements stipulated in the primary education program;
Implement solutions to organize Informatics teaching as per the Ministry guidelines.
Implement educational activities for Informatics and digital citizenship skills as guided by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Based on actual conditions and the teaching staff, flexibly enhance Informatics education and digital citizenship skills for grades 1 and 2 to "form early essential digital citizen skills," forming the basis for smooth transition to learning Informatics in grades 3, 4, and 5.
For grades 3, 4, and 5, increase the teaching hours and content per topic and knowledge stream to consolidate and deepen Informatics knowledge, allowing students to research, explore, expand their Informatics knowledge, and develop their Informatics competencies.
Organize training and develop a plan to implement digital citizenship education according to the primary education program as guided by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Academic Year 2024-2025 Opening Ceremony Schedule: How?
According to Article 1 of Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued the framework schedule for the academic year 2024-2025 applicable nationwide to preschools, general education, and continuing education institutions as follows:
- Students will return to school no earlier than one week before the opening ceremony. For grade 1, students may return no earlier than two weeks before the opening ceremony.
- The opening ceremony will be held on September 5, 2024.
- The first semester will conclude no later than January 18, 2025, and the school year will end no later than May 31, 2025.
- The assessment of completing the primary education program and the recognition of secondary school graduation will be done no later than June 30, 2025.
- Admissions for the initial grades will be completed by July 31, 2025.
- The high school graduation exam for 2025 is expected to take place on June 26 and June 27, 2025.
- Other national exams will be organized according to the Ministry's regulations and guidelines.
