On May 26, 2022, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Plan 1705/KH-UBND on the implementation of the key tasks of AIDS prevention, prostitution and drug control in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022. - Ensure technical support staff for programs operating from prevention (communication, outreach, Methadone treatment, HIV testing counseling, monitoring, evaluation) to treatment (prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, care) and HIV/AIDS treatment) including: day antiretroviral therapy; medical examination and treatment, preclinical testing through health insurance; quality improvement indicators; TB/HIV coordination; co-morbid diseases (HIV/hepatitis C), sexually transmitted diseases.
- Implement the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1246/QD-TTg dated August 14, 2020 approving the National Strategy to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030 in the city.
